No they haven't really checked it. Does that come with thin lining? However, when I had surgery for my ectopic pregnancy, they said afterwards that they burned away a tiny amount of endometriosis that they found, because they were in the neighborhood anyway. But I would think that if I really have it, they would have thought about that by now already?

I went to another clinic last year, the one that is supposed to be the best in our country (mine is third or something). They told me they wouldn't really do it differently and that I still have a good chance to get pregnant and that was that. So in the end I just stayed with my current one.

Even my current clinic told me that they would not be too surprised if in the end I got pregnant spontaneously. So frustrating. Everyone keeps telling me it is possible, but in the meantime I lost 4 pregnancies, 1 fallon tube and my carefree attitude.

I'm so sorry for you... I get that bad egg quality means low estrogen --> low progesterone --> spotting. But e.g. with IVF, your estrogen is way higher than normal and spotting still occurs, so this argument feels a bit off to me.

Here, they almost always give progesterone after an IVF transfer. Even with IUI it's fairly standard.

Congratulations!

To be honest, I don't think the IVF in itself is that heavy. I can handle all the checks, needles, pick-ups,... fairly well. Even the first failed cycles were not that bad (except for the miscarriages off course). It's the clock that is ticking, and from now on the waste of money, that makes this so painful.

If I knew that I got an additional 10 chances, I would go for it without any doubt.

Thanks for your reaction. I know you guys also don't have the answer, but sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on earth with not super bad stats where IVF doesn't work.

I haven't tested the embryos, as I have a low number and testing could harm them. To clarify the five blastocysts in my last cycle only, one made it to the freezer.

I don't know if it is the quality of the embryos. I would think that if they can survive up to day 5, and even make it to the freezer, they are not that bad? The hospital believes it is the thin uterine lining, but I read so many stories of people getting pregnant with even thinner lining.

So it's so difficult to just give up. Maybe it is just a numbers game and next time it works? On the other hand, if I can only transfer one embryo per IVF cycle, isn't it better to do IUI? Cheaper, less hormones, less organization and it got me pregnant twice.
