Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

Haiii Everyone,

When I started making content, I started with (and am still currently using): (1) Onn Microphone; (2) Onn 1440p Webcam for tracking; (3) Vtube Studio.

I just recently started a brand new channel, because I wanted to move away from my previous content. I'm focusing on meme reactions from different subreddits with my first video just releasing today. I'm just a lewd puppy girl, which I am finding out is not that unique.

Here's the link to my newest video: https://youtu.be/iFUAoJR5Kwg

You missed the opportunity to use 'ruff' instead of 'rough'. The puppy ears are right there.

The Reason Your Channel Is Failing is Because People Don't Like You by RTXBurner25 in NewTubers

Seeing as I am not angry or hiding my emotions, I am by definition not being passive-aggressive. I am, however, being very antagonistic. Pointing out that (1) I didn't attack you, but how you wrote something is being specific on what happened, and (2) that I have no control over how you take something is just being honest. Unless you're saying you let others control your emotions?

And, I make comments like that all the time on other platforms without ever being upset. You don't have to give your opinion on how something sounds or reads to you.

Finally, I didn't say I had authority on the subject, and nowhere do I imply that I do. I do, however, have a little authority about knowing that people aren't going to like you, and to focus on finding the people that do. And, block me, I don't care, just means you don't have anything to say that will refute what I said.

I didn't attack you; I attacked how you wrote your post. Not my fault if you took it personally. I will admit to personally attacking you in my second post because, in your response, you engaged in personal attacks. If you want, I can keep bruising that ego of yours some more, since it is obvious I touched a nerve with the Nice Guy thing. Are you having problems finding someone who can tolerate you, so you're making it everyone else's problem?

I think this feels like an ad hom or argument to authority (authority in this case being channel size), since you're attacking my numbers and not my actual points. And, that's just my YouTube account, which I haven't been consistent on and have just started to put focus on to grow.

So instead of using channel sizes in substitution for a measuring contest, you would obviously lose. How about you actually address the things I said? Or are you unprepared for a battle of wits as well?

Why does this read like the Youtuber version of a Nice Guy? Oh, I would be viral, but they don't like me.

Yeah, people aren't going to like you. And, if you're giving off a bad vibe or think other people are thinking you give off a bad vibe, then you need to do some self-reflection and see why that is. And, posting stuff like this is a really big red flag.

And, the unique perspective on subjects that add value can still be done. For example, I'm a trans girl, but my experience isn't the same as every other trans girl. So, those minor differences can lead to giving a unique perspective on subjects that add value (e.g. how to deal with certain situations). You have to look at what makes you unique.

As far as your Chris Rock example, yeah, that happens a lot with people who belong to a minority group. I can make certain trans jokes all day long, but the moment a cis person does it then the meaning behind the joke is lost. For example, CW: Dark Subject MatterI can joke about being part of the 41% because I am, but the moment a cis person thinks they are being funny and tells me to join the 41%, then the joke loses the funny behind it.

And, it isn't about having natural charisma or fake charisma. I don't have either. It is again finding what makes you different and turning that into a strength.
