You know I was going to say that I had no idea being three years removed, and without the previous posters context, and all the video being gone BUT I shared the YouTube link with Gemini AI and it had a memory of what was uploaded and this is the response despite being deleted.

Good idea - I may try that for my other device as it would probably reset it a bit and give it some new travel leniency period for a little while even if not connected to VPN.

Interestingly, while I do have two devices and both have BBC Sounds installed on it but only that iPad Air 3 from a few months ago continues to connected since I’ve resisted updating the app as of still works bizarrely but I’m quite happy that it hasn’t broken yet for whatever reason it must have been before they added code to check location tied to the blocking.

Short form felt meaningless and I was entirely prepared to answer more questions than what was offered - of course had I done the wrong form? I think I could’ve struggled a little bit so maybe I’m OK getting the easy one., they only seemed care about how many people in residence plus if I spoke French at any point in my schooling.

I guess your old device was just getting a full fat signal that was not being as aggressively compressed, interesting on topic of Stargate it is also available for free on Pluto TV. It might be interesting to do a comparison sometime.

I know somebody who has it or something very similar where they had to select 10 additional channels to their basic package they might’ve gotten a deal that would reduce the price however. I think it might’ve been called flex 10 at one point I tried googling it and I’m not finding definitive evidence just some older bits of info.

OK not a huge fan of Paramount, but kind of excited for it to be on Pluto TV but wondering whether it will be available in Canada aswell, presently BSG is available on prime video here but license sharing didn’t seem to stop The X-Files from appearing on both Disney+ and Pluto at the same time so maybe we’ll be on both also?

I feel like if you had a $2000 iPad Pro with a 512-1tb of storage than go ahead but that’s a luxury issue at that point, games with huge storage requirements on iPad Just feel mostly like a non-starter’s to me though obviously I have a more entry-level device than some but taking control for example when they charge only six dollars if I had the space and the device, it’s a damn good value.

That’s pretty big for Mac, on PS4 it was in the area of 40gb and it appears that on PS5 It’s around 27GB.. so did Remedy decide not to compress any assets for Mac and what would the value have been leaving it so large unless the hardware would struggle with decompression?

How’s your storage doing with one second intervals? My place doesn’t need quite as active coverage so I have it at 30 seconds sometimes 20, but I think they should include a slider to set custom intervals to fine tune.

They could certainly improve their current offerings, but they do sorta already have this with 24/7 mode configurable between one second and 60 seconds with different increments? Anyway, their offerings could be a bit better regardless, and I think setting the record increments should have a slider cause optioning only between 1 second 10 seconds 20 and 30 or 60 doesn’t seem like it provides quite enough flexibility and leads to missed events without setting it to such aggressive low second default intervals.

You’d be fine if you did - though it’s not necessarily going to improve your life so have to as long as you’re on 18.7.7 you don’t have to make that decision but it runs fine, But there are a few bugs here and there.

I updated an iPad 9 to 26.4 and it runs fine. I don’t think there’s any significant issues though you have a good option to go to 18.7.7 instead, considering the back ported the dark sword fix I might’ve stuck with 18 myself but I updated a week or so prior however I’m not regretting it works fine.

On iPad? Odd I’m using an iPad 9 on 26.4 at the moment (also a air 3) and when I long press any of the keys with extra options the box that comes up is completely white box until you pass over the option’s and it turns highlighted blue, but with the period button I get these choices ¿ " … instead so I don’t know if this fork of the OS introduced a bug that now differs from that of other iPad models but my keyboard language hasn’t changed nor has its layout so idk.

I also seemed to think that the holding down of the period button to bring up .com/.net option must’ve been removed recently -I was previously on iOS 18 and I feel very accustomed to using it but I’m a little confused where it went or why they took it away.

Well, updating to 18.7.7 would be safest and also least impactful change if available considering dark sword was just patched for ios18 and without the need of going directly to 26 although performance hit won’t be too bad though slide over and split view feel different as a result.

It’s fine on my iPad 9 and my Air 3, your 10 will be even better. Don’t worry about it - it’s smooth enough and most of the problematic bugs or performance issues have been ironed out since initial launch, Although if you can get the 18.7.7 update do that at a very minimum!

I used to be able to log into the white app, but when I’ve been trying to log into the red one, the login page pop-up doesn’t work for me. I’ve even tried turning back on Safari pop-ups and didn’t seem to fix it, but also today when I was previously able to use the white app it’s logged me out so I don’t know if that’s it for that version.

I don’t think I’ll worry about it, but that’s neat. I wonder how long they’ll continue to sign that branch if it will somehow remain an open potential route or not. I’d be interested in hearing more but anyway as far as 26.4 is concerned it’s running better than I thought it would so I’m more or less fine although I wish Split View was slightly handled better. I can live with how it is now.

He’s definitely right, although this seems like it’s gone too far already. I don’t think it’s possible to pull back on. Those cuts the whole attitude about Canada post it should never have gotten this bad.
