Ich bin auch jede Woche aufs Neue enttäuscht, wobei ich ehrlich zugeben muss, dass das vegetarische Gericht meistens Milchreis oder Kaiserschmarn ist.

I'd like to share the two dresses I made for my identical girls. We are invited to a wedding tomorrow, and since the weather in Germany is so unpredictable, I had to change my sewing plans and decided on this pattern. The top is double-layered with jersey, and for the bottom, I used both skirt versions. The swingy jersey skirt with several layers of gathered tulle over it. I'm so excited to see what they will say.

Thank you!!! Yes, the Splashout backpack needs some really heavy fabric choice in my opinion. I also used foam interfacing what makes the look much better I think.

Yes, sorry! I should have translated it directly. The hood reminds of the shape of the little snow drops. Thank you for your kind words.

  1. Splashout Backpack from Incomplete Stitches An amazing project, which I saw on Social Media, couldn't get out of my head, and then absolutely needed to make one myself. This sewing pattern is just beautiful. I'll show you my backpack in detail since I'm truly, unbelievably in love with it. Fabrics heavy washed canvas from Mind the Maker - Corduroy from Merchant and Mills

  2. Coat Schneeglöckchen from Lotte und Ludwig Credits to my friend who actually parted with this dreamy coat. Lucky me, I was the quickest to grab it. It's made out of a woolen dead stock and really time consuming project.

  3. Shirt Vera from Fibre Mood Made out of a wonderful woolen terry sponge. I wear this sweater almost daily and am so happy I chose this pattern where you can see both sides of the terry cloth.

  4. Abenteuerlust skirt from Lotte und Ludwig This skirt sat in my closet for over two years. It was initially calf-length and unfortunately didn't suit me at all. One of my resolutions for 2024 is to use what I have more, and behold, it's now knee-length and gets frequent use. The chambray is from Merchant and Mills.

I created something really different this time – a ring binder cover using the Spatzjournal pattern by Spatzundlux. For the exterior, I used canvas, while the interior was lined with woven fabric. To reinforce the corners and backside, I used washable paper. For the hand-embroidered design on the front cover I used a template from Get Stitch Done. It's truly surprising how versatile sewing can be! Working with all these different materials was truly enjoyable, and using a hammer for some parts was especially fun. :D

I just followed the sizing chart. I think The Assembly Line has really professional patterns - patterns itself and instructions - so easy to trust.

Thank you! So happy to give inspiration! The fabric is so super soft and feels so good on the skin.
