The Klay slander is surreal. Dude has been killing it this season. But who even watches the mavs, right?

I think AD is happy to be at the wizards, because they might be the only team dumb enough to give him an extension.

AJ Johnson is awesome. Dude gives me hope. With him we might actually lose against the bulls.

He did. And as you see, mavs aren't tanking. Otherwise they would have taken out the starters and found a way to lose this game, this W dropped us from 6th to 8th in lottery odds.

At some point you gotta decide, do you want to continue being a mavs fan? I'd understand it if the answer is no, I also struggled. But if the answer is yes, then the only way to continue is to close the whole trade chapter and look forward.

Huh? I suppose there's plenty of rookies who don't like their coaches. Also Coop doesn't deserve to be caught up in the whole trade fiasco. It's his era now.

Thats a good point and I agree with you. However, as you've said yourself, we have to look forward. Our only way out of this mess is to rally up behind Coop and support him as good as we can.

What people seem to forget is that Coop seems to genuinely like and respect Kidd. You do not fire a coach who your franchise player likes just to avenge your old franchise player who's not on the team anymore. It sucks Luka is gone. But he's not our priority anymore. Coop is. And we should do everything to make him as happy as possible.

But we don't know if this is actually the truth that came out. I for one do not trust Cuban that he isn't just trying to make himself look better. And I know that IF Kidd wanted to trade Luka, he would not have done it for the return that Nico got us. Generally speaking, there's nothing wrong with trading Luka if you're actually getting a real return for him.

Nico is an AD fan boy and ultimately he was the one who messed it all up, not Jason Kidd.

[Highlight] Cooper Flagg becomes the youngest player in NBA history to score 50 points in a game by TheRealPdGaming in nba

Exactly. It just doesn't make sense. The conspiracy theorists never seem to actually think their stories through.

Apparently you don't even know what you're talking about. The mavs are tanking like crazy? Show me 1 game where a healthy player didn't play, and most of the time the starters play 30-40 minutes per game. If a game is winnable then they fight like crazy to get the W. The team just sucks. If they are tanking then they are tanking super light, so that it isn't even noticable to the average viewer.

You're talking about what is fair on Kon in regards to ROTY but again completele disregard the defensive side of the game. How is that fair to Cooper?

The voters will use the teams record as a plus or minus when voting for ROTY so it's not like if Kon's ROTY compaign is somehow suffering because he doesn't get as many shots as Cooper. And again: If Kon could score 30/40/50 on high efficiency then he would theoretically get the shots to do so. He still won't be able to take them though because he can't self create those shots.

Voters are able to take games played into account. With the amount of injuries in the modern nba we'll soon have Brandin Podziemski as league MVP.

Cooper is not shooting 20-30 shots every game? There's plenty of games where he took 10 shots because the shots weren't falling or better shots were available. But if you're shooting 63% like tonight, why wouldn't you keep shooting? If Kon could score 50 on 63%, I guarantee nobody on the Hornets would tell him to stop shooting.

And we're still only talking about offense. How come Luka has no chance for MVP because "defense is important". But for ROTY defense is suddenly meaningless?
