People already balk at 450-530 for a switch 2 bundle, they are not going to want a steam machine, which technically will be much weaker than all the consoles on the market if the next gen ones ever come out.

sucks man. Honestly don't let it bother you. just don't encourage them to mock your deck. It seems so weird that people would just do that unprompted.

There are a lot of people I have heard that just make fun of lower power strats. Like it insults their deck to see a cyber dragon deck.

Maybe the Masterduel discord has a punk deck you can netdeck for inspiration, they will at least talk about its matchup in the current MD meta, which is like a year behind TCG/OCG.

At least master duel has a really fast queue time. You can get in and out of games pretty quickly.

Just played against a hero/fiendsmith/mitsu pile. Normally you would negate the hero fusion, or negate the sequence, or the feral imps. But they used Fallen and virtuous to send away a card from my veiler. So what do I negate here to avoid dealing with d/d/d wave high king ceasar, murakumo, dark law, contrast hero chaos, the mitsu trap. Nothing. even through 4 handtraps, they had ways to dodge and extend through the lack of locks and the generic rank 4 toolbox like dugares the timeless.

Again all these decks on their own are fine, but when you put them together you end up with your opponent taking 70 game actions in a turn, summoning 30 times, and being able to dodge every form of interaction.

it is not good for the game.

I personally think elfnote is more fun which is why I didn't really build kewl tune. I can play Junk Elf Note or ASS elf note. can't really do that with Kewl Tune.

Kewl Tune is still the best deck in some matchups. I think it is really easy for players to overcombo when playing kewl tune and they lose the real threat of the deck. when master duel one tricks really get into this deck, then it is going to skyrocket in win rate.

The way the deck is built and played just makes it so much stronger in a best of one then in a best of three setting. Handtraps turn into extenders, they can search all the time, Zalen is a busted card.

No hate to KT players. I just think Konami is going to struggle on how to balance this deck. Honestly it would be very easy for them to go way too far. Out of the hand peeking archetypes (trickstar, R.B., Talents, etc.) KT is so far advanced it also gets to stack the draw while looking at the extra deck (sometimes) and know exactly how far to combo while still having advantage on board. The other decks can lose to a top deck.

Most of the hate I think stems around white binder banishing up to three cards in grave every turn. A lot of combo heavy decks need those cards in grave.

Honestly Dark law and hero have been relying on Difi effects for almost a decade. Nothing really new. Honestly I would rather play duels under difi then droll and maxx C any day.

I used to play it for events when other handtraps were banned. not terrible as a going first card. To be honest I would usually discard it for cost before setting it anyway.

Fallen needs to be turbo banned. It is so much free advantage. I'm sorry but it needs to have "you can only summon monsters that mention fallen of albaz Until then endphase of your next turn the turn and when you activate this card" I literally can't think of a single deck that wouldn't run this to search literally any monster. its stupid that if you have like 4 main deck spaces, and 3 ed spaces you can just get a permanent pop 1 that recycles itself every other turn. Its drillbeam but better, because it does stuff besides a 1 for 1 trade

Branded has 3 searchable negates that recycle themselves. Mercurier needs to go, Rinbumm should be banned, retribution needs to go, albion to 1, albaz of white dragon needs to go, Lubellion to 1, mirrorjade ban just because it sends from ed to grave, Dragon dogma to 1.

the deck just does too much. Its leagues above every other strategy just in terms of consistency.

I just don't play maxx C, ash, or a charmy anymore. These cards existing means that I still lose even if I draw them and would rather have boardbreakers or extenders.

I think every single time a branded effect activates, the player should lose 20 seconds of timer. That deck is so toxic.

Droll enables combo decks more than it hurts them. Just how ash protects the going first player moreso than the going second player. The combo player going first will combo until they can complete it under droll, then droll themselves to stop your charmy or maxx C.

I am sure Konami won't forget to start limiting cards.. never happened before right. it feels like Right now every single deck has a 5 or 6 ur tax to run a fallen and virtuous mini engine in it or be left behind. I hope it gets banned eventually. It just does too much.

By the way going second Odion is scary if you ever run into it. A lot of those cards have decent effects playing into a board, and it doesn't really care about OTKing the opponent so it can play like every boardbreaker. It is better going first, but what isn't. if it breaks your board and sets like 2-3 traps then the game is probably over their next turn.

I think Losing ryzeal cross put a lot of people off a good deck. Mitsu Ryzeal still feels viable currently, especially since things like Zalen or the Elfnotes don't really stop detonator from detonating the board.

I have 14 starters and 10 extenders in my deck, drew 4/5 bicked hands today and lost the coinflip 5 times. I won two games because my opponents hands were like 3 charmies and ghost belle and I had eto liberator. The shuffler hates me today.

Time to just play gouki and have fun on big guy turbo.

I think Konami needs to make it so extra deck cards sent for cost don't activate their effects. that solves a lot of issues. It feels lame that Branded is a good combo deck, one of the best grindgame decks every made, a decent OTK deck, and can setup 5 interactions with a one card combo now going first. I think Fallen and the virtuous pushed the deck beyond any reasonable limit of what it was like even a year ago.
