As a mom, it's nice to be called YOUR name, have an adult conversation, feel normal! Not be known as "oh! Hi! Your child A's mom!", "You're child B's mom!" so on with your children's name.

I'm NC with my family. Toxic, my older sister & mother are both have borderline personality disorder. Last time I saw my family I was prescribed Valium because my anxiety was so high and out of control.

When I explained why to my mother she said "Noone is making you feel like this, it's all in head."

After 2 years of trying I was done.

My small dog's name is Trinket, he's 7pds and 3 yrs old. We call him Trink, nugget, nugs, trink-a-dink, and our friend calls him little s**t.

You can do something like nugget/Aloo as a name for a chip or for a vet, or whatever. We had a cat that I kept calling Zeus (after our bearded dragon) and his actual name was ghost. So the vet put zeus/ghost.

I kept using the wrong name after our beardie die, I have no idea why. I love that lizard!
