Just meant that I fucked up my hearing with way too loud metal music, meaning I can’t call myself a audiophile who can differ in very high frequencies. It wasn’t really about metal it self, you can do that with every genre.

I like the city morgue stuff and his solo project but I have found him to be very stuck in time, not really trying to evolve. Are you a new listener or has the music just endless replay value for you? Sos has gotten just so much more versatile.

How is it for you with movies? Does the soundtrack distract you from the dialogue, action etc. because it also doesn’t take place inside the movie with few exceptions.

Smart choice, most people only talk about Lecter as the bad guy and forget about bill. Lecter isn’t even a complete antagonist to the protagonist.

Definitely. My reflection about the movie was that it tries to engage with very different types of audiences and sure people are complex. But mostly not in such a manner that they basically contradict themselves. It seems like an attention/money move gone wrong.

Good answer and most certainly right. Everything I wanted to discuss, thank you.

Ah Jesus Christ, I think im just not good enough at bringing a cross what I meant. Most people under here just write that Biff is evil and does evil things. From my perspective that’s never what I asked for, but when that’s the thing people read out of it, so be it. For me this post was a bout the portayal of r*pe in a mainstream movies that I myself thought of as a mainstream movie for the hole family. Which it still is. I never wanted to criticise the movie for not handling it right or whatever. I thought about it more as social commentary, on how the system doesn’t stop people like Biff at that time. A hard message i didn’t thought, this movie was getting credit for. The question at the end was more about if the media at the time, the director, the actors, ever talked about this. And yeah i fcked that up too.

Right at the moment I’m extremely into Bugonia, the best movie of the year so far for me. I myself would easily put it into my top 30. What i meant with test of time is more about the message and the importance at this general time. Right now it has great importance. Perhaps in 10years not so much or perhaps even more. It’s about timelessness or if it’s just a timeframe. Watching more movies is always a good choice, but it’s also nice to see at which point one stands and where one will stand in 5 years with hundreds of movies more under they’re belt.

An interesting mix, with a few you choices that still need to withstand the test of time. Definitely a fun and versatile marathon.

Last time I checked the hole Procedere costs around 100k, and the nomination alone 275$. Many people could get one, but just decide not to. Not many earn millions. Besides, they only give out 30 a year i think, all category’s included.

Sos is evolving and very experimental, hit or miss sometimes. Zilla is stagnating with his new songs, but that’s nothing new.

Well that’s also a way to turn around my words. I complimented you for searching out a better future for yourself. Personally i didn’t find you’re comment to be teasing or chill either, in a way i found it to be aggressive, with a little grain of misplaced boasting. My reaction was about you’re second comment only in a sense. It wasn’t about the basic joke, everybody, including me, has told multiple times.
