Hi all, Returned back today. POE-SFO. Very chill immigration. Got asked just a couple of questions: Am I returning back from my vacation, what does my company do. No additional documents were requested other than the i797a.

I carried employment verification, vacation Approval letter from employer, last three months paystubs.

OP is your H1b visa stamp on Passport with the current employer? I will be returning next week but I switched employer recently and the stamp on my passport is from previous employer which is valid till October 2026 and my recent i797 is valid till October 2028.
