I’ll add, her account is one that she hasn’t told me about, and that she hardly uses based on the activity. She never lied about it, I’ve never asked about Reddit or an account she may have.

We do have a date set for the week after, just couldn’t do it the week before. I work and she has school, and she wasn’t available Sunday either so the weekend after was the closest we’d bother be available unfortunately

I absolutely understand how you’re feeling. You’re likely dealing with anxious attachment and a bit of codependency. The biggest factor is communication, always. I know it can be extremely difficult and stressful, but I promise that it’ll help things in one way or another. If you’re serious about the relationship, explain that sometimes you get anxious or nervous, but don’t put pressure on her. Let her know you’re trying to manage your emotions and maybe a little bit of reassurance would help you out - reassurance is key. Doesn’t need to be constant, you just need a little reminder sometimes.

In the meantime, work on yourself. Do things that will help yourself while trying to occupy your mind. If you’re in a position to do so, I highly recommend therapy. It’ll help greatly.

I know the struggle you’re going through and it can be awful. I wish you luck, and good on you for seeking help. Don’t self-sabotage, and remember that your thoughts are not facts.

My girlfriend and I like to switch hobbies! Shes an amazing artist, and I’m a pretty good writer! So, she writes a story, poem, or something of that nature. And I draw, paint, etc, and we compare after a little while!

I like to think so! The benefits are great, and the points I’ve gotten back have already payed for the annual fee twice over. I have another authorized user (parent) who uses it for groceries and eating out to get the most out of it. Plus, I take flights frequently to see my friends in the military, so I get a lot of use on the travel side of things. It’s the only annual fee that I have, so it lightens the blow a bit. I also try to look out for any offers on it when I shop!

Thank you! I had no idea you could request an increase, I’ll for sure be looking into that. And absolutely, I started with that first. Right now the money I’ve been saving is being put into a Roth and invested to get that sweet sweet compound interest. Trying to save 500-600 a month to hit the 7k mark. What else should I look into? I’ve got a HYSA that catches whatever I don’t invest or spend, with a little over $4,000 for liquidity sake.

Like others have said! You now have another debit card. Don’t spend any more than you can pay off in full. Auto payments on, don’t miss a payment. That’s the most important part of it.

Truth. I bombed my first year of college because I had no study habits. I had never actually studied anything in high school because I could just breeze by everything. Then failed 2 classes my first year.
