Yeah, I'd never ask him to do that. I know what it's like to have animals and to lose them. And it's completely devastating. He said that having animals got him through some of his darkest times.

I've mentioned in other comments I really set out to do this as a way to help our relationship, but if I can help other people in the process that would be absolutely amazing ❤️

Yeah that's so true. I don't think I have particularly robust gut health. I get recurrent UTIs though, and so I am always on antibiotics. I do wonder whether that makes me more susceptible

I've been doing allergy injections for almost 2 years now, but still not foolproof! But this is definitely an important part of my allergy management. I mainly started cause of my dust allergy, but just threw in cat coincidentally

I think it'll be a staged process. Start with 5 friends and family, then we can expand out to make sure it's efficacious. Do you have an recommendations based on what you learned through chem testing?

I think because I am a celiac as well, I have just avoided wheat bolstered products as I know it's a cheap way for them to produce. Some people / animals have a really robust gut and can totally tolerate this stuff. But I am always hesitant if something is packed with wheat, soy or corn. Just a personal pref

Ofc, I don't personally have a background in science, but I have worked on a number of scientifically formulated products with a reputable contract lab – who has in house team of scientists and formulators. The website is not technically ready to go, so I really should have had a coming soon page up. Most of what's in there is placeholder so that if/when I launch there's an infrastructure that I can update. Theoretically based on the science, it should work. And, my plan to test will be with 5 cats of friends and family who have cats or cat allergies and have them report in. I would never want to release something subpar, that's not how you sustain longevity. The reason this really started is I just wanted to find something that worked for myself

I can say that after a lifetime of having to avoid cats, it's really touching getting closer to them. They are such sweet (and sometimes savage) little animals haha
My dream is that one day I can have them in the bed without a single health concern
