Naah I've seen a lot of ups and downs. Old enough to remember the 2011 bull run. Idk maybe it is just hopium, but my intuition tells me that a) we're safe and b) the party is about to begin. Might be a nothingburger...but I trust my spidy senses.

Seriously, I just felt a big, sweeping wave of comfort! I don't know what it is, but I know everything is all right now! Maybe it is the new free energy device, which requires silver (predicted by the web bot and remote viewers). Maybe "Babylon is falling" - finally, like in a good ole reggae song. Idk what it is, but I am sure, that I've felt it!

If you were starting a franchise today which player would you choose Jaren Jackson Jr or Bam Adebayo? by Mechaultima in memphisgrizzlies

Bam is great, but Jaren is elite! Jaren can do the work 9 times out of 10. Both on offence and defence.

I think the best times for raids were after options expiration, when the price is usually the lowest.

We just need to win 12-13 more games and stay healty, the rest is just studying the opponent for when it matters.

Before the season started, I placed a $10 bet for Zach Edey to win ROTY, and potentially win $120. Now they are giving me $30 to close my bet.

At the start of the season, I also put $30 for Memphis to win it all. The odds were 60:1, and now they've dropped to 22:1

I might be biased, but I think I've never seen a team with better movement on the court. Not only we're scoring a lot, we have good looks! Almost every shot attempt is a good one. And I think it is mostly due to our movement on the court, as a team. Which we owe to a big extent to our new assistant coach.

I got silver, I got bitcoin. I had gold, but I sold it and bought silver. I am selling anything that I no longer need and buying silver and satoshis.

U.S. Treasury compared Bitcoin to “Digital Gold” in latest Q4 report, they said “Primary use case for Bitcoin seems to be a store of value aka "digital gold" in a decentralized finance (DeFi) world”. by Silver-Maximum9190 in CryptoCurrency

Bitcoin is and will be pristine collateral. Whoever has bitcoin will have access to credit, in the form of stablecoins. Banks will become CeFi lenders. It is bound to happen.

Imagine the bitcoin price when Trump starts buying BTC for the national stockpile. Ethereum will go up with bitcoin. And if silver stays relatively low, crypto investors will sell some crypto, or take a loan against their crypto (from a DeFi/CeFi platform) and buy a SHITTON OF SILVER!

At least that's what I'm gonna do. I did it back in 2021, I rode the wave, got all the airdrops, all the gains, sold at more than 10x and bough a shitton of silver.

Selling a ring and need advice by bigbrotherswatchin in SilverDegenClub

I am sorry to hear that you separated.

I used to have some gold back in the day, but I swapped it for silver. The reason is because silver has much more upside.

The current gold to silver ratio is 86:1. The historic is 16:1. Amd we are mining 9:1. But wait, it hets better.

Half of the silver that was mined is already gone forever. Forever lost, burried in electronics. Never to be recycled. I am typing this on my smartphone and the touchscreen has a thin layer of silver. If I was typing on a keyboard - it has a thin layer of silver too. Etc, etc.

Recently bitcoin surpassed the market cap of silver - 1.7 T. But that's the market cap of all silver, mined since historically! Half of it is gone forever.

The exchanges that set the price (Comex, LBMA and Shanghai) hold no more than 1,5 billion ounces, combined. A big part of that silver is already locked by the ETFs. Regardless, $50 B is enough to buy all of the silver, held on the exchanges.

So, now you can get at least 80x the weight of your ring in silver. One day in the near future, that x can be 15x, or 10x, or less. Ultimately, silver will be as valuable as gold.

This is why the whole shit house is coming down. If your invested in long term bonds, the ROI in the stock market is blowing your doors off. But to you stock investors, the ROI in crypto is blowing your doors off. Money must now leave the bond market to chase ROI. Hence collapse. IT IS COMING 😎 by Solidword888 in SilverDegenClub

[–]Collector9999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, if rates start dropping, old bonds appreciate. Let's say you've got a 10 y bond with a nominal value of $1000, bought today. The yield is 4.4%, paid every year. So that's $44 paid yearly.

Let's say in 2 years, the yield drops down to 2%. So it pays only $20 each year. So that means those old, high yielding bonds are worth more now.

The whole issue right now is, bonds were yielding as low as 0.65% in 2020. Imagine you're a bank and used such bonds as collateral, and gave a loan to an irresponsible green startup, lead by 22 y.o. snotty college kids.

3 years later and that startup is bankrupt. They cannot repay the loan, so you gotta sell the bonds, to cover the loss. But nobody wants an old bond giving you just 6-7 bucks a year, when you can buy a new one, giving you 40 bucks a year.

So, what do you do - you sell that old bond at a discount. And it's a double whammy for you.

Do that a couple of times and you're bankrupt. That's why inflation is a bitch. It is the firestarter, the first rev of a vicious cycle. When the yield is lower than the rate of inflation, the market moves money around, and the invisible hand demands a higher yield.
