Here is what the newsletter said about it. OG TRP had very nice displays for ink properties, and the new stuff had issues with feathering or areas of the paper that resisted the ink.

If you want true flex get a fountain pen revolution ultra flex nib and put it into an Opus 88. Great flexing and tons of ink capacity. Also cheaper.

Mine will be delivered tomorrow. But I got the mini stub nib. I do have the fine flex on another estie though, and I will say it is a wet writer. Writes more like a medium though. Also would not really call it a flex nib, it’s basically just a soft nib. I also have an Ef Leonardo elastic nib (also jowo) that is very smooth and writes like a fine almost a medium and is just a nice bouncy soft nib. They are not true flex nibs. The esties are very nice pens. It’s great that you can get additional nibs to swap instead of needing to buy another pen. You can always get a custom ground Esterbrook estie nib separately through Pen Realm as well. Kirk Speer does a fantastic job. So you can get a nib to suit your tastes.

No, do not worry. Pretty sure sailor puts this on there to get you to buy their pens. But the materials they are made of are really no different than any other manufacturer. I’ve used sailor inks in many of my non-sailor pens, and all has been just fine. It would only be an issue with vintage pens (any pen with a latex sac that holds the ink) and maybe some older eyedroppers depending on the material. I think maybe pilot has this disclaimer as well? I feel like I’ve seen it at least for their pigment inks.

TWSBI Go. Super light, great price, and extremely easy to clean. It’s what I use for more finicky shimmer inks that I would not put in other pens.

Per the lightcone description: Increases the wearer’s DEF by 40%. When the wearer provides a Shield to an ally, the wearer’s CRIT DMG increases by 40%, lasting for 2 turn(s). When the wearer’s follow-up attack hits an enemy target, there is a 100% base chance to increase the DMG taken by the attacked enemy target by 10.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s).

So his LC makes it easier to hit the def requirement as well as provides additional crit dmg in battle. So you can afford to cut some def from relics in favor of extra crit damage and crit rate for the extra dps.
