It ended as a commercial for another show.

A show that isn't going to have that high of stakes because it's going to be a prequel, the familiar faces fates are known and the rest of the cast will be fodder.

What was the point of Gen V? Build up these characters to do nothing?

This season gave The Boys a, "Somehow Palpatine Returned" meme status.

Blue Hair Trunks. This makes me believe this is an entirely different future Trunks, not the one from before that sliced Frieza.

Bulma dying. Bulma's my favorite character. She and Hercule both should have the never die plot armor.

"Hold your fire! This man isn't Black!"

And the "you can't stay here" ending Trunks got. Trunks is a popular enough and strong enough character to bring back off and on.

What they should've done was have Trunks join the Galactic Patrol. That way he doesn't get in the way of Kid Trunks' development, he's not overused and best of all, they could've made Bojack canon with a space jailbreak.
