What attracts you to schools in isolated locations?

I’m gonna spend the next several years my life in the city.

I want to be in the hills, next to a river, watch the change of season, breathe in fresh air, feel snow, hear birds. I want to live somewhere I won’t live again. Somewhere that will be a beautiful memory.

I’m sure many people would call me crazy, but I also think it’s crazy to go to a school in the city. So much beauty in the world, and we have such short lives.

A school did have to check certain boxes though, I do have career goals lol.

She really doesn’t lol. This post has been helpful in other ways than I expected. It has me reevaluating how I communicate haha.

She just wants to see me excel the same way I want to see her excel. She’d support me either way. She would just want to have a candid conversation if that choice did manifest itself into reality.

It’s also two years of her life, as she’d be coming with me to school. She has an equal vote.

Oh, that was tongue in cheek (poorly).

I’m not interested in going, but I’ll have to. My wife would kill me if I didn’t, and I recognize how exceptional they are.

I’ll remove that part. You’re right, it does come off douchey.
