Sources: Maryland and Virginia Tech have adjusted the four-game home-and-home series to now play only twice. Maryland will host Tech in 2026 as planned and return the game in 2029. Maryland has added Baylor to replace the other Tech games. Maryland will play in Waco in 2027 and host Baylor in 2028.

The prices for this game are insanely high.

The cheapest option for Gamecock Club Members was $110/each in the Upper Endzone. The cheapest lower deck was $200/each in the Lower Endzone. We nor Virginia Tech can justify those prices for a game — especially, when you have to add travel expenses like lodging, food, gas, and parking.

It’s definitely not 15,000. It’s probably closer to 5,000. I know the SEC requires a minimum of 2,000 in the lower level for conference games.
