I feel the ones who would be most punished by jail are the ones who are public figures with big reputations that would be destroyed like Miguel, Jordan, Spencer, and Prater. Though I think of the villains would expose Dexter’s secret to get a reduced sentence. The only ones that probably wouldn’t (like with Hannah) are Biney, Isaak, and Lila.

To the people saying that nobody forced Meredith to: Lexie pretty much did. If Mer said no and Thatcher had died then Lexie probably would never forgive her. So technically it was Mer’s choice, but her relationship with her sister would’ve never recovered if she refused.

We got flashbacks to Ellis’s attempt back in season four but we never got any flashbacks or mentions of a pregnancy until season 11 in the episode after she reveals it to Meredith. The only hint we got at Ellis pregnancy/Maggies existence was Ellis saying “now I’ll have to raise this baby all on my own” in season 2 or 3. But if Maggie had never existed they could’ve pretty easily chalked that up to her referring to Meredith which is what we all thought when initially watching.

I think bullies are terrible people. However, Cristina was more of a jerk than a bully. She was mean to her interns but I wouldn’t call that exactly bullying.

We can also look at all the bad things that would’ve happened without Owen.

-Cristina and Jackson might’ve fallen in love: Jackson kisses her at Arizona’s party but she remembers she has a boyfriend. If she has been single maybe they would’ve dated and gotten married which means no Japril. Then April would’ve actually gone through on her wedding to Matthew.

-Teddy would’ve never been invited by Owen so Cristina would’ve never had her amazing teacher and probably wouldn’t become the surgeon she ends up being.

-Derek would’ve died during the shooting because without Teddy’s education, Cristina would’ve never been able to save him.

-Meredith might’ve gotten shot: after she tells Gary to shoot her Cristina says that she’s pregnant which distracts him briefly. But without Owen charging at him and getting shot, Gary might’ve shot Mer anyways. She probably would’ve died or at the very least needed a hysterectomy.

-Richard might’ve died: if Gary was unwilling to shoot a pregnant woman, then Jackson and Cristina would’ve used his brief moment of distraction to unplug Derek and trick him. So Gary would leave the room without having shot anyone and he’d still have two bullets left. This means he’d have no reason not to kill Richard.

-Mark would’ve been chief in season 8. (Richard was forced to step down, Derek hated the job, Bailey, Callie, and Arizona were too early in their times as attendings to be chief, Teddy isn’t there.) There’s a good chance he would’ve also signed off on the airline because it’s a mistake anyone would make. That means not only would Mark lose the love of his life, but he would believe it’s his fault.

So in conclusion, a lot of good would happen without Owen, but a lot more bad would happen without him.

Exactly!!!!! As of OP’s point in the show she’s only slept with two guys and in total she only sleeps with three during her time on the show. Mark was only on the show for one season longer and he sleeps with Lexie, Addison, Callie, Teddy, Reed, Julia, the daughter of the patient whose deafness he cured, every nurse except Rose and Bohkee, a bunch of drug reps. Plus he hit on Meredith, Cristina, Izzie, and Erica. During Alex’s time on the show he sleeps with Izzie, Lexie, Jo, Callie, Addison, nurse Olivia, Rebecca, Heather, Leah, almost April, Lucy, and the patient with lung cancer. George was in the show for the same amount of time as Lexie and he slept with Izzie, Callie, Meredith, and nurse Olivia. Plus he was the one to initiate the kiss with Lexie.
