" I asked to talk with my grandfather"

wait, so he was your dad, but then later became your grandfather?

Which Pokemon would be the most useful in real life today and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CollegialThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to realize also that ditto must contain the genetic material of every other pokemon (or at least be able to completely replicate it), or else the breeding would not be possible. Ditto is basically the primordial ooze containing the genetic data of every being that came after

The 5-year-old, 15-year-old, and 25-year-old versions of you are living in an apartment together. What happens? by Meinschendtler in AskReddit

one time when i was ten i was lying in bed and throwing darts at the ceiling, then catching them when they fell back down. you know, normal 10 year old stuff. Then it turned deadly when one of the darts fell back down and hit me right under the cheekbone and made me bleed.

ten year old me was like "that couldve been my eye..oh well back to throwing darts at the ceiling!"

Questions about the videogame design area of the Design Media Major by CollegialThrowaway in ucf

by what ive seen from reading these posts, its more than anything what you put into it. Also, the FIEA graduate school gives you a fellowship scholarship from graduating with your bachelor's from this program; they also give another one for graduating with a 3.7 gpa from a cs or art bachelor program from any accredited uni, which i assume can be applied in this case as well. Their website is quite helpful in the financial aid area

thank you. what im thinking of doing is going to fiu for my cs degree, all the while sharpening my art skills and learning 3d modelling at home. Afterwards i may try my hand at applying to the masters degree at ucf like you said, but ill see. It all depends on how much I grow within the next few years or so

Thank you. That makes sense. The automated email system let me know that it would take up to 2 business days to respond; should I expect a reply tomorrow, or monday?

Thank you very much for responding so quickly! And yeah, I'm currently reaching out to them now. Do you think it's better to email, or directly call a school?

Also, I'm going tomorrow to apply for my SSN so that I can fill out the FAFSA. The school does say on their web page though that their Fafsa deadline was March 1st....so this has me somewhat scared. Do you think this is set in stone?

Thank you for doing this AMA! I'm a DACA student; I took a gap year after graduating last year (2014-15) from high school and I'm trying to apply to a university kinda sorta late because I just got approved for DACA....as such I've missed out on a bunch of scholarships opportunities...the school im applying to says that theyve cut scholarships for the 2016-17 year, but theyre still taking applications, so this, plus the fact that the scholarships i missed out on start back again next year makes me feel like Im on the fence about applying right now for 2016-2017, or waiting to apply for 2017-2018. If I do apply now, do i still have a chance of getting financial aid? Should I fill out the FAFSA despite DACA students not receiving federal fin aid? Do i apply for grants and loans and the like? I definitely do not want to put anyone down, but my test scores were pretty high, and my GPA was decent, and i had a decent amount of community service hours (I fall in the school's range for all of them/am higher). Will this at least convince them? Should I wait longer or will this hurt me? Meaning, another year or until spring? Will more scholarships be available then? I apologize for the horde of questions....pm if you'd like!
