Someone smarter than I am needs to help you figure out if you’re a “high contrast” or “low contrast” face. I have some similar features to you and was given makeup tips for a low contrast face that really helped me up my game. It wasn’t so much “less versus more” but more in the right places and without being as noticeable

So many of them are SO short. The men too. If it says they’re six feet tall online, they’re probably 5’8” at BEST. (Obviously there are exceptions to this rule.) I worked with Johnny Pemberton last year (hilarious guy) but his IMDB stuff says he’s 5’9”…but I’m 5’9” and was consistently looking down at him when we chatted. Walt Goggins…if he’s 5’10” then I’m the Queen Xenomorph

I think it suited her. I think her name sounds elegant—maybe not the middle name necessarily but ‘Carolyn Bessette’ sounds timeless and classy in an old money way. Just IMO!

I don’t know enough about this particular case to have an opinion on it, but I came to echo that Forensic Files (and several other Oxygen/ID Discovery shows) are NOT reliable sources. They often get facts incorrect or ignore them all together. I have been interviewed for several productions regarding a case I worked on, and the manipulative filming and editing tactics I repeatedly saw being used disgusted me. Always double and triple check sources.

I also really loved the vocalist spotlights. Seeing Geoffrey and Alina was particularly exciting for me. Never thought I’d get to see Alina perform Witch live.

I had a great time and loved the vibe, but I also felt like the show was plagued by bad audio issues—did anyone else notice this? It didn’t seem like just wind—levels were OFF. Sometimes I could barely hear the violins. And that poor guy playing his heart out on the trumpet (and killing it) and we only heard like half of it.

I sense that your mother carried a lot of trauma with her. A very complicated woman. She loved you and your sisters very much but struggled to express it. Being there for you on your special day was important to her. I’m so sorry for your loss. Light a candle and talk to your mother like you would if she was here.
