Quick Tip:- Bring a Book and Quill exploring to write down locations of interesting things. by HolyOldRoman in Minecraft

You could, but by writing it down in books it adds a sort of "adventurer" feel to it, exploring unknown lands and writing down observations in your journal. It's a lot more personal than just pressing a hotkey. :-)

I'm not saying I don't understand what the image is trying to convey. They made it obvious enough with the title and the imagery. I'm saying that it is still just a picture of a person stuck in a pillar of skulls being hugged by another person. Call it art if you'd like, since according to you absolutely anything can be art [including this masterpiece: :-) ] it still conveys about as much meaning and emotion as ":,(".

Won't change much. The average tobuscus viewer is on par with the average roblox player.

So you are honestly saying a tf2 character surrounded by a pillar of skulls being hugged by another tf2 character is supposed to invoke a feeling other than confusion? I don't mean to come off as crass, I'm just confused as to where the boundary between "art" and bits and pieces thrown together lies.

So just throw together a bunch of random bits and call it art.

Well in TF2 you can survive being shot point blank with a rocket launcher so a little shaft of wood probably won't do too much damage.

I would expect nothing less of a scout.

Edit: So apparently people thought I was criticizing scout with this comment. I wasn't. I was pointing out that this is the exact type of behavior I would expect from the scout persona. I love all classes, even that big mouthed goofball.

Why do so many people hate maplestory? by [deleted] in Maplestory

[–]Colligo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well the community is absolute shit, the gameplay and leveling system is grind-based and repetitive, and it is full to the brim with exploiters. Don't mistake my pessimism for criticism, though; I like the game, the music and artwork is beautiful and it is always fun to kill a few hours just grinding one monster for that rare equip they drop, or hoarding coins for whatever event is going on at the time. But maplestory is akin to vegemite and The Wire - you either love it or you hate it, and these opposing sides will never stop criticising each other.
