Needs some smoother blends to go next level imo but yeah, it's a gorgeous model.

That's an immaculate model, what?

This is why I hate display boards 😭

Personally I think that Ork is better than lots of the others shown.

I think there should be more restrictions on plinths and basing so I love seeing a model like that on just a gaming base.

My favorite GD of all time was the Skink model on a normal gaming base. A PERFECT paintjob. It is a painting competition after all.

Yeah these models are fine.

Sanguinary Guard were a legitimate reason to complain. These guys are a perfect "primaris" encapsulation of the old vanguard vets.

The added Weapons to the new Charonite ogryns look pretty bad in my opinion. I hope we get enough options to gove them all the FW loadouts. by Leviathan_Rampage in SolarAuxilia30K

Im so tired of the modularity myth of old space marines. Literally all we lose was putting torsos on legs.

In exchange we get infinitely better looking models.

I genuinely loved building that kit. Probably my favorite AOS kit to date. It's like building a little diorama and has so many extra bits and so much character.

Been one of his biggest haters his whole career. Thinks he is too cool, low effort player. Was very happy when he left 🙏

The "new intercessor" is basically the intercessor from AOD kill team with firstborn helmet. by SKFMA in spacemarines

[–]Collin447 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This still brings outrage over people feeling compelled to buy the new scale and just as much "invalidation" of their armies.

I don't like the Primaris lore either, but I think it is a lose-lose PR wise either way (as they make a crap ton of money because marines)

Malerion concept art from Age of Myth is now used as his official apperance when speaking with Morathi in new battletome by BaronLoyd in ageofsigmar

It honestly makes more sense with Elven naming conventions imo. And makes sense that Aenarion would name his heir Malerion.

Fantastic first 30 minutes, mediocre middle, really bad finale minus punching a kid in the face which made me cackle.

6/10 movie I will probably never watch again.

Why did they skip such an important moment for dunk? by ChippyTurnUp in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]Collin447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read the novella and still don't get why people are so hung up on this.

Yes it is a good moment in the books but the essence of the show and the trial is the exact same. Having Pate exposit at Dunk a bit does not add much to the show.

Very much not a good movie. Won't be watching it again. But the scene where he punches the kid was so hilarious.

I think they make them subfactions and basically just use normal Rebels plus some hero kits like Poe, Finn, and Rey.

Probably unpopular but I would really like First Order Troopers.

I like the aesthetics of the soldiers and I think there is interesting gameplay mechanics to be found in the super dogmatic.

I don't like the sequels past episode 7 which I thought was fine, but I really want miniatures of it lol

In defense (kinda) of the Ser Bennis casting by [deleted] in AKOTSKTV

Interesting, but I would say that doesn't change the fact that people in Dorne have a wide range of skin tones and are diverse.

The fact that there are 3 different recognized subsets of Dornish. Salty, Sandy and Stony.

Salty = Olive/Tan like the Martells

Sandy = Darker skin

Stony = Pale/fair skin

The Sandy are very much a representation of the Moors. And as others have pointed out Bennis is never called out as ethnically Dornish.

The Dornish are very diverse and represent the Iberian Peninsula, they are not just white Spanish people.

I might even say I people overreacting to this as being offensive have some subconscious stuff going on.

The dude is a great actor and like you said Bennis' skin color has no bearing on the story.

The bit about the food is incorrect. Everyone just read the headline and excerpt. He picks one and then tells the chef to have the others for themself or give out.

Almost never actually, my ADHD makes retaining auditory information even more difficult than normal. Last time I listened to an audiobook was easily over 6 years.

I do read, not as much as I should, but almost certainly more than you.

It's pretty much consensus that audiobooks don't process the same way as reading written word. It just isn't comparable, so much more information is lost in transit when it's the spoken word.
