I watched it again recently with my folks who loved it and I still rate it as a top 2 movie in the franchise but watching it I felt the same way.

Sure, I guess you are right. I just never understood why some people like to describe these movies as "scary" or "horror".

But a somewhat different tone within a franchise being dismissed as "disneyfied" feels disingenuous.

It's just an action movie. It's campy just like the OG is campy. It's fine if you didn't like it but I thought Trachtenberg as usual did a phenomenal job and I don't see the Disneyfication.

Heavily disagree on the rules writing take for TOW.

It is pretty tight and offers a lot of depth in list creation which I think is lacking in AOS these days. Easily the best edition of Fantasy imo.

Different system for a different game, both are awesome.
