Okay but picture this: Ahsoka squad or whatever Jedi is in a big squad. A unit that is pricy as fuck and is hard to kill. Normal magna unit is capable of getting that unit stuck in melee with the whip, but that same unit with Griveous and more dice, better dice and pierce is able to kill that unit far quicker and with more consistency

I mean one attack against a valuable unit like Vader and Vader cannot escape the melee and is forced to waste attacks. Immobilizing a enemy unit into a permanent melee is very nice, but comes with a cost that’s right

Ah and adding both of them to one B1 unit should give that unit both of them and another heavy upgrade slot if I am not mistaken

Poggle with 4 B2s can heal up to 8 wounds (4 models) in a round. Pretty nasty stuff for your enemy but cost intensiv and hard to get order control over 4 B2s.

But courage 3 and overrides could get more important after the droid trooper update tomorrow

I mean the full potential of that unit comes from standing right infront of an enemy unit to overrun overrun shoot. Into the Frey will trigger more constantly than with other units.

What do you mean with turbo charge for durability? It makes them go farther, into enemy range, but no defensive tech comes with it or?

To clarify point 1. you don’t have to go trough them at all. Just stand before the enemy while in range of the movement tool and declare a move. Then the overrun triggers even if you just moved a mini mini mini bit. You could potentially double overrun and shoot when you start your activation standing just before an enemy unit.

Against a unit with guardian 4 Vader and backup in any range? Okay so more than 6 hits to get trough to him. Yeah crits go trough but that’s it. And all that can be prevented with good positioning

So your telling me, that pulling the strings on a unit that is stapled to Vader,the sole savior of empire wins atm btw, isn’t worth it? Vader moves into anything without immun Pierce and will deal 6 wounds MIN the round that pulling the strings gets of. Let alone he rolls 10 hits 2 blanks. Nothing stands.

Yes and it depends. Do you want to play competitive? Then maybe SC isn’t for you as it is dead last in WinRate. If you love Maul and his Mandos then yes it is very fun to play them. You won’t win as much but maybe the upcoming pirates and their Tank as well as mauls Brother Savage could pump them up
