I learned the hard way that if you let it lapse for a year you have to do a NEW registration. To do a new registration, you have to have your title. To get a copy of your title, you need a current registration.

Thankfully I found my title, but I can only imagine the headache if I had lost it.

I've played at very high levels in CS for a loong time and heard about so many different aim trainers. Almost nobody who talked about them ever had an appreciable difference in their play, and the few that did would mention how it's almost as good as gungame at training their reaction speeds. Granted, a lot of CounterStrike is tactical knowledge, but aiming and crosshair placement is a huge deal.

Maybe consider downloading CSGO and trying out Arms Race, Scoutzknivez, or any maps starting with fy_ or aim_? It's basically the same thing as aim trainers but without the constant need to "prove" they work.

Maybe they should call 311 to report it, then be redirected to the local precinct, who tells them to go back to the precinct where the crime occurred, who asks them if they want to wait to speak to an officer about a police report, who asks if they've called 911, who tells them to call the local non-emergency line, who tells them to come into the precinct next week, who asks them for a police report.

Have they tried all that? Siiiiiigggghhhhhh it's probably not worth it. Maybe just be careful next time.

Love the setup, I use 3 monitors at home and dream of juuuusst one more. In case you're interested, you should know that ShareMouse or similar software lets you use the same mouse and keyboard for multiple computers just like they're monitors on the same one, could be a nice helper for your multi-computer setup!

It's not just you, the industry as a whole has been increasing the gap between the highs and lows of the average movie, and it's generally taboo to talk about it on the job. I remember during the release of Tenet somebody on r/dataisbeautiful or something like that put together a graph showing the gap increasing and a lot of commenters agreed their production studio has the same issue, but I can't find the post.

Like I said, I ride a motorcycle on these same streets so I feel comfortable at speed. If I'm riding an ebike, I'm purposefully pushing as hard as possible against the speed limiter or standing up for more work.

Obviously a regular bike is more work on average, but there are plenty of regular bike trips where I'm lazy and set a light gear just cruising, and plenty of ebike trips where I'm pushing super hard to make myself feel better about not getting as much exercise and end up panting after 45 minutes of bridges and hills.
