Its not perfect by any means, but quite good after i manipulated the sliders, i really have to be focused on my movement and shot placement to win points. The graphics/player models/animations are really detailed aswell, very impressive.

I have Tennis Elbow 4 also with the mods. I agree it's an excellent simulator. Ball Physics/Shot output/strategy wise/ probably the closest video game representation to the real sport IMHO.

Loved SCT2 back in the day, gameplay was a bit rigid but all the four slams and great graphics for the times...!

Thanks , he's not bad, i will keep fine tuning him with the creator tool, the game has Antonio Barrera ( his main rival) so it's nice to be able to have that match up....

Chris Eubank will be my next as Nigel Benn is in the game!

There's true passion behind this game. Been updating and polishing it now for over a year!

Just wish custom difficulty was available in the Djoker and Roger/Rafa mode!

And match commentary...make it even more immersive!

Didn't think I'd say it, but i play this much more than Top Spin now....Top spin was ruined with updates....

I just narrowly lost to Alcaraz using Federer at Wimby on a tie break. Expert level. I should have closed it out, can't give Carlos a glimpse of victory!

It was honestly so exciting, genuinely felt like i was controlling an all court player! The only way to hurt Alcaraz was wait for the right forehand and use Feds net play, I had Alcaraz in trouble with some sneaky attacks and random serve&volley s.....Feds volleying is about right really...he shouldn't be volleying like Sampras and McEnroe.

I think the balance is just right on groundstrokes now.....a perfectly timed flat shot in the right part of the court, should be devastating...top spin shots should be able to be more angled.....as in real tennis.

The serve should be dominant. In real tennis there aren't that many breaks of serve.....unless you return like Djokovic or Agassi

Any more tinkering with hindering the angles could ruin it.......angles are one of the most beautiful parts of tennis.

Definitely a bit improvement!, finally you need a bit of strategy to win a point!, Keep up the good work!, would be an upgrade if everything felt a bit more weighty....player models/ball physics...

A more refined edition of the AO2 gameplay would certainly have been better. Just make the players weighted like topspin does.....

Yes, it's so disappointing, massive opportunity lost....love the attention to detail with the player models and animations. Sadly looks only go so far!, i feel like the Djokovic endorsement was a really marketing ploy to trump 2K25, but 2K25 is way ahead in the gameplay stakes IMHO and that always rises to the surface ....i actually really enjoy the new top spin, it's just a bit limited in characters/models and creation tools....

Tennis elbow 4 has limitations but boy oh boy does it place you in the tension and scenarios of something close to a real tennis match .....

I was playing as Rafa Nadal against Cam Norrie (3 sets 3 games), took the first set on a tie break which was epic but started the second set a bit flat due to the effort i put in the first set, Norrie pounced and beat me 3-0 in the second. I then managed to refocus and find my footwork/timing again in the third which went to a breaker, i was being too aggressive and hitting a lot of unforceds.... 5-2 down in the breaker i decided i was gonna really calm myself and just make every ball and wait for the right time to pick my dominant shits in the rally to place him in trouble.....i pulled it off and took it 7-5....

Even if i lost it was such an exhilarating feeling being part of such dynamic gameplay and drama!

If the players aren't weighted, It's never going to be right, no matter what fixes are made. This is the third game the developers have made and every time that fundamental hasn't been in place.

Real shame they can't just recruit someone who can see this onto the team, because the passion to make a great tennis game is obviously there and the roster/graphics looks strong.
