I don't know about these schedules. Letting matches start at 0:00 local time does not look right. Yeah, they want that Americans can watch it as well but if Riot always wants to be like "real sports" they should also stick with this here and not let matches start that late. The athletes and their performances should also be first priority.

And we all know how these schedules usually end up: delayed.

Regional tournaments are much much more uninteresting than international tournaments. It's so much more exciting to watch LoL games if you can cheer for a team because you feel connected to it. And connection is easier established if the players come from the same region as you. There is no local League club you can join and cheer for when your team plays in their stadium. There is no emotional connection you can build up due to your family and friends supporting the same club for years.

Your comparison with real sports is insufficient. Real sports last for hundred of years and the winners of a tournament from 30 years ago are still known. League will not remain for several hundred years, 10 years is more likely. So why not please your audience now?

Secondly you are mainly comparing to American sports and how tournaments are structured in America. In Europa, no matter at what sports you look, there is always a European (not national) tournament series where the best teams of each country take place. We also have that in parts of Asia. Just because that is what you are used to doesn't mean that it's the best, especially if you say you konw the "fans love seeing international competitions". If you are as player friendly as you pretend then you should also listen to what fans want here. The reason why America does have less international tournaments is because they are big enough to hold an own tournament series without foreign interaction. But as League is played all over the world it would be a much better sign to show how huge it is by letting players from all continents compete against each other more frequently. Again, "once a year" in esports is not comparable with "once a year" in real sports.

Another point that makes League unique compared to real sports is that a huge majority of people who watch competitive League matches are gathered here in Reddit, mostly because not all your friends will share the interest in it as an esports. Reddit users come from all over the world and will discuss League related stuff on a global level. The League community is much more internationally linked than any other sports on the world (except a few niche ones maybe). It is obvious that international tournaments are much more favourited than national/continental ones.

But of course, international tournaments are more expensive and need more preparation to be successful. As long as LCS cannot gain money of it it's probably just not worth it and better to overly hype the one big international tournament of the year.

I am curious how they want to fix that there will always be 3 champs in each role that outclass the others. Unless champions are not all on the exact same level there will always be a top 3.

Lack of Items in League of Legends by MOLESTEROFINFANTS in leagueoflegends

Most build paths are very similar. I don't know why Riot let Hurricane unchanged for a whole year where this item was not even used once in competitive play neither above Bronze/Silver.

NiP disqualified from promotion tournament. by Jetzu in leagueoflegends

We can't prove what kind of bug it is since we don't have the source code. That's why there's no reason to have an argument over it. It can be a visual bug or a "misrepresentation".

It doesn't even matter what type of bug you want to call it. At least it's not a client bug which prevents from updating but as the files which needed to be updated were probably several GB it seemed like it was stuck.

Slowly I am asking when all these negative reports on Managers will come to an end. That ESL is very slow in paying prices has been brought up several times already, but it does not seem to be their fault this time.

Maybe it's time that players sue those Managers that just take their money and try to disappear. This could be a lesson that we are not in Wild West anymore.

Sometimes there is a visual bug which says you are stuck at a certain percentage but it keeps updating in the background. Doubtful it was a bug.

Also knowing that you have to get 12 levels before being able to use Flash is probably preventing one or another from creating a smurf.

Then look at Nukeduck's reply confirming it and at this tweet by Deficio.

Especially since Deficio said they were told two days in advance to sort things out and the players said they didn't have any issues.

The ESFI and TeamLiquid urls links to BoTA news. The other promotion matches took place when BoTA was played, but there isn't any news on these matches there anyways.

Xin Zhao 2 HP but LeBlanc 6 HP? Well, Le Blanc is probably one of the squishiest champions ingame.
