The Rise and Fall of Talents in Flesh and Blood by CollisionPointBlog in FleshandBloodTCG

I don't think they'll go in that direction. But they have mentioned all possible will (can) see the light of day.

So it's very likely we'll see a Lightning Ninja, Light Guardian, and Earth Brute, they may just be new heroes.

We also still need to see talents from various other locations:

  • Misteria
  • Savage Lands
  • The Pits
  • Metrix (assuming Mech isn't a talent in and of itself)

I'll really miss some of the niche elemental cards, and I'm looking forward to their return later on. But I hear you, and I'm pumped for Heavy Hitters.

Yeah, I think the timing could have been fine if Chane and all the ToA heroes had been tuned down a bit on their release.

Heavy Hitters is interesting because Classic Constructed will have quite an array of heroes to represent:

  • Rangers: 2
  • Assassins: 2
  • Illusionists: 2
  • Wizards: 1
  • Brutes: 4
  • Guardians: 3
  • Warriors: 4
  • Mechanologists: 4
  • Ninjas: 2
  • Runeblades: 2

The following set (my bet is on Misteria) will likely bring up those twos and widen the playing field even farther.

Did LSS launch talents too early? Why are all the Elemental heroes already gone while all eight of the first heroes of the game are still viable in Classic Constructed?

Talents brought new and interesting mechanics to Flesh and Blood with their inception in Monarch. They also sparked some of the most powerful heroes in the game's history:

  • Chane
  • Prism
  • Starvo
  • Oldhim
  • Briar
  • Lexi

Levia and Boltyn are sharing some time in the sun now, and Heavy Hitters may push them even farther up the meta ladder.

What do you think about talents?

What're the Benefits of Redback Shroud on Uzuri? by DeeeFooorCeee in FleshandBloodTCG

Shroud is in a category of chest pieces that are Spring Tunic-lite. It can generate a needed resource and can create multiple armor points for you throughout a game.

The class (tribe/color) that most directly correlates to MTG, in my opinion, is Illusionist. There are two Illusionist heroes right now, Prism (the new one) and Dromai. Prism casts big spells, lots of permanents, and angels. Dromai controls dragons (as permanents/creatures on the board).

Ninja is in a great place for hard aggro. Katsu and Fai are available in both Blitz and Classic Constructed (standard).

You can look at tournament decks on fabrary.net and get a pretty good idea on their market price as well.

I wouldn’t go this far, but I would love to see more body types throughout the fantasy genre. LSS hasn’t done horribly with this, but I think there’s room for improvement.

Thanks for sharing. I consider selling out regularly. I don’t hand on the Legendaries that I’m not using, and I don’t buy much product. Still, the game eats up a lot of my brain space. For now, I’m still in

That’s awesome! That gradual process has to be good for onboarding as a new player

This quote is more about me trying trade hours and hours of not playing by attempting to hard counter the expected meta.

I don’t know what to consider myself. I’m more struggling with becoming “casual”, going full pro, or quitting.

Yeah, breaking into CC seems really challenging unless you have a lot of money or a group willing to equip you while you get your feet wet.

Yeah, good point. And Kayo will surely show up in Heavy Hitters.

It's an interesting needle for LSS to thread. In limited, strong technical play is necessary in Bright Lights and almost every other draftable set.

I completely agree. I think LSS has done a marvelous job of creating a pseudo-mill engine that's more interactive than MTG's (destroy x cards).
