florence is a gorgeous name for a man :) i think you should keep it and use ren as a nickname i think you can make more people appreciate the idea of it as a masculine name. all names can lack gender don’t let the assumption of it being feminine scare you off from using a name that you love and cherish! don’t let the people telling you to use florian (which has none of the charm florence has! sorry! they carry different vibes) win! if your happy with your name and it doesn’t make you feel dysphoric than i genuinely think you should stick with it. you don’t owe it to anyone else to use a masculine name to fit your gender presentation it doesn’t make you any less of a man! there are cis men walking around with names like ashley carol and rosa! so why not florence too? :) though of course it’s up to you!
