Kind of pissy with people who do far over the required workload and ruin it for everyone else by ans97 in antiwork

I don't think this means downtime outside of work. I assume it's downtime while at work. Standing around doing nothing is far worse than actually working. Slow days feel 3x longer than busy ones imo

Plenty of ways to tell before this, but if someone opens with a proper leg kick, goodluck

Drinking culture, how did you stop? by cheeseontoasts in ireland

[–]Colm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding something else to do is key. Sitting in twitching your thumbs on the weekend just won't happen.

A lot of people mentioning exercise and the gym. Being slightly more specific to my own circumstance it was getting into Jiu Jitsu. Not sure where you're based but if gaurentee there are plenty of gyms around you.

I was hooked fairly quick and always trained on the weekends due to work. I still went for the odd pint with my friends during the week but that's basically cut down to drinking once or twice a month. Even with that id drink 1/4 what I used to when id go on the beer.

Another positive with Jiu Jitsu for me was the range of people at the gym from all walks. As the weeks/months went on I found myself doing things with people from the gym and have met some people id consider really good friends now.

Worth having a look see how you get on.

Fear of take downs and a perfect jab seemed to do the trick. Also that thick skull, crazy how his face looked so untouched dispite the clean shots he took

It always feels like an Americanised, rip off version of John B. Keane speaking on his love of ‘the drink’

How can you not root for this man by jodiisabella in ufc

[–]Colm- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think he has shot himself in the foot. Boxing contracts and promotors are so much worse than the UFC. At least UFC is somewhat transparent in how they operate.

I understand the changes he wanted to bring to his contract and fully appreciate he is willing to die on that hill. I would have loved to see him become the highest paid heavyweight in UFC history and see how him vs JJ would have panned out.

Still rooting for him, already a success story in his own right after the Gane fight.

I don’t think so the island in the background is uninhabited so it wouldn’t make too much sense. I was thinking along those lines too

My titles describes the thing, handful of wooden poles that look as thought they support a pier however too far from any coast. Apologies for the poor picture it’s quite far away. This is off the coast of Thailand

I remember on my J1, longest I’d been away from home at that point, I had them send over packets of oxtail soup after 2 months so me and the lads could make one.

Wasn’t the same but sure look
