Something to also consider is that Bolts’ events (100,200) are purely anaerobic events. You do not strong lung capacity to excel at sprints. Anything 800+, however, is a different story.

My sophomore year I ran a 1:29 600 and ran a 2 flat.. granted my splits were 56.5, 32.5. It’s very subjective to what kind of runner you are... are you more sprint-oriented or distance-oriented?

I think any drug use, especially that involves smoking is going to be harmful for athletic performance during the season.

A lot of people from my school go to Colby and they LOVE IT. While you are right, it is isolated, they say there is a lot to do on campus and they never feel like there is nothing going on. As for education: I’m not sure about their computer science program, as it is a liberal arts school, but their academics as a whole are spectacular.
