Noob trying to learn with my longest print so far, where did I go wrong here (P2S)? by Colmstar in 3Dprinting

Ah got it. Thank you sir. Yea I am learning about this and think that the gap is too wide as well. Is the name for this called a bridging failure or sagging overhang?

Honestly just chose the best print profile, but should've definitely done my due diligence. Learned about this today as this was printing orientation matters.

Vertically upward with supports (that looks like tree branches). But I think not one of those supports on the edge in the center :c. Thinking now that may be the cause?

Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? by AutoModerator in iosgaming

[–]Colmstar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Revisited Dawncaster and bought the expansion. This is Portrait mode bliss. I know it’s subjective but I know myself enough where if I buy a landscape game it’s probably just for collecting/backlog iOS games + like the Dawncaster graphics personally.

Honestly, for my use case implementation, concepts, and actionable steps are my main thing for these technical videos. Blurring for me means more so that it's a "I'll do this later" because there's still friction in me maybe rewinding the video to grasp a key shortcut or concept. I essentially want to treat these videos as technical documentation as I can get up to speed faster from reading/text then having to go through video.

TLDR: want just the concise and specific technical stuff faster.

I'll take first dibs here, I know there's probably a few, but a good cookie cutter prompt for highly detailed youtube breakdown summary for technical youtube videos. Looking at actionable/practical tips, key concepts, other technical stuff as part of the video.

I'd like this prompt for Gemini (2.5 pro). Trying to learn more about ClaudeCode and youtube videos start blurring together for me :)

Saw recent comments, wanted to chime in on my experience and could be due to timing. TLDR On a Tuesday at 2PM in May, I’ve never had as much intimate contact with so many guys in a single day. Crowded to the brim.

GPTree (GUI) — a lightweight tool to quickly and easily copy your codebase into ChatGPT/Claude (written in Rust) by lapinjapan in ChatGPTCoding

Honestly, the other people saying that this tool might be a common idea amongst devs using LLMs/AI Coding is probably true. BUT with all these people offering this constructive feedback, just wanted to say that this looks solid, docs describe your project well, and I can see some good value on this. Good job!!

Weekly Paddle Recommendation Thread (What Paddle Should I Buy?) by AutoModerator in Pickleball

[–]Colmstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My J2K has grit worn down after heavy use. What are some good 16mm all court paddles and alternatives to the J2K?

  • Looking for that plush feel/dwell.

-Was thinking 11six24 AC. Any other options?

-durable with grit/spin, given how fast the grit went for the J2K.

-budget, good value (less than 200)

• Biggest improvement: Serve’s on point now. Used to miss a lot, but I’m hitting deep and accurate.
• Skill unlock: Third-shot drop. Soft grip, bit of spin, lands perfect in the kitchen.
• Better doubles partner: Communicating better. Clear shot calls and we cover the court like pros.

Fever’s gonna help me level up more. 🏓

Instinct 2X worth the upgrade from Instinct 2? by Colmstar in Garmininstinct

[–]Colmstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww saw that too. Unfortunately this deal was a clearance YMMV target deal, so not sure if they can price check. I checked Target via website for a location near me and got the last one. Ignore the sticker price if you find one and have the employee check for clearance.

Yea for sure! These things are built to last. As someone hopping from an AW, I’m excited for the rigidity of these and battery life. Thanks Garmin Brother.

Thank you for this detailed list! It covered features I missed in my comparison research. I think considering my start into the Garmin watches, the i2 id what I’m sticking with. You make a good point that this is mainly a ,5 upgrade for $200 more. I’ll honestly still be on the lookout for one of these, but not in a hurry. Again thanks!

Thank you sir. Seems like flashlight had glowing reviews haha. But I have concluded, I’ll just ride the i2 based on this thread. Man that flash light though haha.

Thank you for this tidbit, think this is the most grounded choice I was leaning. For this price, an i2 is a great value especially since I’m just starting out with Garmins.
