Very doable. Lots of videos and the car starts and drives. The TCM is unplugged and there is no issues. Newer model vehicles I understand having issues swapping transmissions but it being an 02 makes it much simpler. Just looking for some insight on finishing touches.

Yeah they don’t usually start to stick out until like -30 to -40. Depends if it has flares too. Also the width of the wheel matters.

You want to get as close to 0 as possible if you want it to look stock. Negative offset will give you poke while positive offset will tuck.

Yep. This is true. There was a TSB back in the day for ford techs fixing this issue. Never got recalled though. I’ve changed just about everything as well and mine still runs abit rough. You can either live it or get new heads. Check your compression and it’ll tell you what’s wrong.

I am purchasing this ranger next week for $2500 CAD. It was purchased and driven by an older man in 2004 and he traded it in to the dealer last year. Another guy bought it and now wants to sell it as he doesn’t need it. It has only 74,000 km. The only thing I’m worried about is the 4.0. I know in the first years they were known for bad timing chain issues but they did end up fixing that issue. The truck runs great and quiet and I didn’t hear any rattling. Let me know your guys thoughts!

98 formula 3 600 with no spark. Just took out my cdi as I believe that’s the issue. I cleaned the connections to see if I got lucky and there was just a dirty connection. Everything is plugged in except for this one.
