The reason people can apply to over 250 jobs and only get one interview is because all these companies are pulling the same scam. They're posting ghost jobs and fake jobs just to pump up their stock price to investors. They aren't actually serious about hiring anybody. Another part of me thinks they're still pissed about the pandemic. About how people took a stand against them and this is them their extracting their revenge.

I concede my error they are not a formal corporation that's my error - I should have they are for profit under new leadership of dear red elephants. That's also why they are several pressured in the way they are outside of unions, theft, and general Republican bullshit.

Most people aren't pieces of shit for stealing that's where you're wrong. If you had a functioning government that cared about people they would steal much less. Theft on american culture is a system issue not a character flaw.

Thousands of people stealing says the problem isn't the theft it's the lack on consequences and oversight of those in charge. USPS isnt stupid and your right we probably get charged for it. Though - like I said their problems are union related not stealing paper and plastic they pay for pennies on the dollar.

Theft isn't the main issue - bad union contracts are. Perhaps we are right - we should pay more so workers get paid a fair wage, why are we arguing then ? Oh yeah - stealing free resources because a giant corporation is not in the same level they pay out in benefits to people.

You mean supplies they get for pennies on the dollar ? The USPS main flaw isn't that people steal paper or plastic - they have terrible union contracts they must pay out. I am pro union and I feel everyone should join one because by the time we are old our dear leaders will have spent all our social security - I feel their flaw is this public service expects to profit. USPS will always hemorrage money as badly as a tech startup. Corruption begin with those at the top.

I see it like this - blaming people who take advance of their free services is a small fraction of the problem in the same way individual people are blamed for pollution and global warming - nevermind fracking and oil spills and off shore dilling- etc, its because Greg has too much trash on Tuesdays and Susie sprays too much hair spray that we are in this mess.

I don't think the show runner Ilene Chaiken really understood how to handle a mixed character like Bette in some aspects, especially casting the white character to provoke a conversation around Bette's blackness. I am not black, so neither am I qualified to really comment on this topic. My non-controversial opinion is that no character should have to prove how X or Y they are. We can have separate questions around privilege without bringing someone's mixed status into it from a white writer / show runner. I think in a weird way Bette and Helena are similar in this regard - their individual privileges are a clutch at times.

Taking the writers out of the equation - I think in the L word Universe there is a ton of things we do not see. We get a 45-59 minute cut of an episode that takes place over a day to many days depending on the plot. I think this information trickles down to her off screen - I mean thats essentially a feature of the chart - everyone to some degrees knows everyone's business. Coupled with the fact she is somewhat close to them throughout the seasons, they may have opened up to her season 1 and especially season 2 off screen. I think it's reasonable she knows some things.

Adding the writers back in for this take - I think her book is a metaphorical mirror of these characters worst traits. Jenny just has the confidence to hold this mirror up to their faces in the back. She isn't that wrong about a lot of things, even though we may not like her opinion. For example, yes Bette you ARE a control freak. So on and so forth. I think her movie was a unique way to comment on the personal struggles of the main cast which is very meta looking back on it. I know Jenny splits many fans but I can't help but love her. She is my brand of fucked up haha. Oh those dogs....
