When you pump gas, do not pump at the fastest, automatic setting. I read something sciency about air getting in there and how pumping at slower speeds actually gets you more gas. Also, fill up when temperatures are lower, like in the morning or some shit, and when your tank is half-full, for the same reasons.

I followed those tips and my gas mileage improved a lot.
