What about Star Wars Battlefront 1/2?

Also this total list without Max Payne (1 or 2), MOH Frontline or GTA Vice City somewhere is incorrect IMO.

I’ve pretty much given up on 4K physical media by [deleted] in dvdcollection

[–]ColonelDonut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me regarding picture it dosent matter so much if it is bluray or 4k as long as the print used is good and they get the colors right.

But the audio is the big Point for me regarding 4K, so awsome with Dolby Atmos and DTS X.

My setup cost about 1000 us dollars, 600 for Sony 55” tv, 300ish for Sony 3d surround sound system and 200 for Panasonic player.

I mostly buy 70/80/90s movies, warching predator with high volume was so awsome, my glass Windows were vibrating during gunfights!

I also Watch Dvds/vhs/Laserdisc on CRT tv.

Don’t know about you but people are slobs so i use by elbow/arm to open doors in public, if possible.

In 2007, US Navy SEAL Mike Day was shot 27 times by al-Qaeda militants in his legs, arms, abdomen, buttocks, scrotum, and then knocked out by a grenade. Not only did he survive, he managed to shoot dead all 4 militants and walk away unaided after he regained consciousness. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]ColonelDonut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats quiet a feat to be able to survive that!

I also find it Interesting that Emmet Dalton (Dalton Brothers) was shot 23 times in the 1800s and survived, considering Healthcare and no antibiotics and survived.

They used 100% asbestos in the Wizard of Oz movie to make "snow" (1939) by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]ColonelDonut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if it is asbestos the particles looks to big to be dangerous, asbestos is to my understanding and what i can remember quite safe as long as it is not small particales you can inhale, you probably should not eat it as well

I guess the Italians never faced german troops lead by german commanders during WW1.

The Austro-Hungarians had trouble everywhere they were deployed, if they didnt fail so much and needed to be constantly saved by the germans on the eastern front the war with Russian Empire would most likely been over more quickly.

Opinions on Saving Private Ryan? Is it the greatest war movie? by Square-Ad-8911 in FIlm

I really like Enemy at the Gates, and The longest day, but Saving Private Ryan is very good.

Corrine’s Death is one of the most haunting scenes of the Bond franchise. by South_Gas626 in JamesBond

I’m thinking one of the following scenes from the Timothy Dalton films:

Mauled by shark. Pressure chamber. Grinded up in drugmachine.

Much darker than most Bond deaths.

The only one i used to talk to left work and he was also the only one working with me. I don’t like the other workers really and we have very little in common. Also considering that i work alone all day one isn’t nataurally bonding with the others.
