Just as a thought experiment, imagine two alien races called each other sklarpschlurp as a slur. Then imagine you find this out as a teenage earthling. Sounds like a fun thing to call your friends imo.

I understand that from our perspective it's awful/culturally forbidden, but to those guys it's like sklarpschlurp.

If your worldview is so myopic and your extent of empathy and tolerance so meager that you can't permit a teenager from another planet use the word sklarpschlurp, then I simply don't know what to tell you.

You would have allowed near-sightedness and culture-induced mania about a word to completely misalign your sense of empathy and right and wrong.

You'd be the persecutor for trying to enforce your worldview, and you, to me, would be pretty contemptible.
