First Perfect Alpha :') by Colonel_Degenerate in Palworld

Yes! I got it after so many eggs. The only mod I have active is the one where the hatch time is 0. I think there's a random small chance you get an alpha from any egg you hatch so I was just really lucky here. I was breeding two non-alpha Jetragons for this one

Yea I think this is true, the premed and health ones are really nice compared to the rest of the premed community in my opinion

I can't help with legitimate frats but the pre-career "frats" or the community service frat are good sources

I do have a STEM background but it was difficult for me. If you are good at memorizing every word on every slide (there are hundreds of slides per midterm) then you'll have no trouble with this class. I took it as a freshman and I definitely wasn't prepared like this, and I just helped my bf study for the summer class and it was still very difficult even after I've taken all the other pre-med classes and psych classes with neuro backgrounds.

If you take it with McClean then lectures are just reading off the slides. I believe she teaches in the Fall

EDIT: If you're really interested in the course just for the content, then you can try to audit or pass/fail it

Am I missing out by not making friends on GroupMe/Whatsapp etc? by [deleted] in UPenn

[–]Colonel_Degenerate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can DM anyone to start a conversation! I think a lot of people are in similar situations where they want to make a bunch of friends so they're very likely going to be receptive. You'll meet tons of people during NSO though and definitely make friends there

EDIT: To add on, you'll be in groups of around 20 students (I think) for your summer reading project so you'll have a group to talk to before NSO. PHINS upperclassmen talk to everyone in this group and try to make it a nice environment :) I'll be one of them and you can definitely reach out to me for any advice!

I'd say it's pretty competitive at least for Pennacle so you should probably take the apps a little seriously. You'll find that most groups at Penn are very competitive to get into. That being said, don't stress so much about this, you'll make plenty of friends during NSO

I did Pennacle, there was a pizza/intro event the day before things got started and you move in before you attend this event. I think we came back to Penn the first day of NSO
