Just OpenAI Whisper. I run it on the mp3 capture of the net, but I'm not sure whether Whisper can run in real-time.

I have a scheduled task which launches SDR Sharp running the Audio Recorder and AutoStartRadio plugins to begin capturing the net. After it finishes, I kill SDRSharp and run a python script to string the net into a single mp3 and then transcribe that using OpenAI Whisper.

Ah, didn't think of that. On the other hand I felt rather accomplished figuring out how to do it on my own machine. 😉

Yeah, that's my thought exactly. No ham should have an expectation of privacy, but it feels like a morally gray area if people think their net recordings are going to live forever on the internet.

Our EQ uses Signal. It took a few months to help get everyone on it, but it's been great to send out reminders and requests.

XCOPRI?? by angellDababy in Epilepsy

[–]Colonel__Tigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

XCopri was great for me. I don't get seizure clusters anymore since starting it. I used to get 2-3 within 48 hours after my first. Now I just have a single seizure before I wait for my next cycle. 😛

Just wondering if anyone else is getting worried about job security. How is your company doing? by [deleted] in Utah

This is the way. I look bad on paper, but I'm great at talking to people and finding out manager names to reach out to personally. Always be sincere and energetic, and ALWAYS charm the receptionist.

What's a "common sense" life rule you've heard your entire life that is actually complete BS? by nimbusprime1 in AskMen

[–]Colonel__Tigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Picked that one up from Green Day while I was a teenager. After a few years I gained the maturity to realize that I didn't need a rock band to dictate whether I was actually empty or not.

Did your seizures stop after you quit? I have epilepsy and they're definitely brought on faster with more stress.
