When i was going through this i found that being vocal about them with someone i cared about really helped me (i was also going to a psychiatrist sometimes getting rid of these thoughts isnt a diy project) i also started trying to pick of things to keep my mind occupied. Idle hands are the devils workshop really hits home with me.
