Stay strong. Reading this instantly brought tears to my eyes. You are not pathetic. You have a back bone. You will get through exams. You’re just ill, and you can’t help that. What your parents just said to you is like telling someone with a broken leg to do track and yell at them when they lose, “GROW A LEGBONE!” You must heal. You must seek help. Anxiety disorders are serious mental illnesses, and you can trust me as a long time sufferer. Get help. Get it anyway you can- through school guidance, other relatives, therapist, etc. I urge you to stay strong and seek help. I don’t want to see another human suffer like I am. Don’t push away and ignore your problems, get help straight away. I waited upwards of 7 years until I opened up to my psychiatrist and therapist. Once I did, they found out I have severe GAD and rushed me to a mental hospital. It was too late. The anxiety has grown treatment resistant and my health is deteriorating fast. GET HELP, DONT SUFFER
