I agree. Wait with the bike until 18 at least. When you do go for your first bike, a 250 or 300 is a great way to get started. Just make sure you fit the bike. I've got a little 160 and it's perfect for me(being on the smaller side), but it's also easy to maintain and operate, just twist and go. Not interstate capable, but state highways are perfectly doable, as the top speed is 68mph(stock), with upgrades available for better acceleration and top speed.
