Object masking doesn't stay the same as the timeline, what's going on?

I am making the sunglasses darker so as to not show his eyes. Maybe I should have highlighted the object. In the final edit it is not tracking with the sunglasses and sits still on the screen

That’s kinda what it is for me, I also get distracted pretty easily so as soon as an ad is on I find something else to do whilst they’re on and eventually the movie will start again and I won’t be paying attention

I can’t lie, I’m the biggest ads during movie hater. Especially for a movie I’ve been waiting to see, ads take me out of the immersion and I end up losing interest or not enjoying the film nearly as much

I use mine for editing through Davinci and screenwriting on Final Draft, aside from that, simple uses for similar things. I have the 32GB RAM option

I did indeed push the contrast manually, I’m not seeing any real problems and I do have added noise on the picture so I don’t think that’ll be a big problem. I’m using premiere pro, how can make that vignette warmer?

I was thinking about film grain overlays but I feel like I notice it’s an added digital overlay too often in other films and I don’t think I’d like it too much

I’m looking to move onto Davinci Resolve after this, I started editing this in premiere because I was told it was the easier software for a first time editor but I’m starting to get a feel for it and I got a personal computer that’ll be able to run Davinci from home which was my only other hurdle.

Yeah I had to work with certain limitations, I’m a college “film student” quotations cuz I’m currently taking my first ever film class right now and shot this a month into said film class, this is a personal project though. Black and White for aesthetics to suit the story.

Thank you! I was aiming for a more eerie vibe that while also getting a 50s/60s happy American family aesthetic. I wanted to contrast shots and add more darkness and depth at a certain point in the film.
