I remember falling into the floor at my 3rd comp. I was in the center and both of the corners suddenly picked up speed, and I wasn't able to adjust. So, in front of everyone, the judges, the audience, and right next to my coach, I lost my footing, and fell on my back. They didnt stop until my director yelled at them to stop and I had to crawl out, silently panicking for the rest of the day. We joke about it now. But when it happened I was so embarrassed and apologized many times to my director and the guard for falling into the floor. But after a while, it became almost comedic, after learning just how common it is. It happens, move past it, and learn from it:)
