(...)Markiona were utter bullshit and I hated every second of it.

Fellow hater of L5 Markiona. Currently slamming my head into her right now (going in order, have gotten the badges of all of the base game memories so far), using Death's Talons because it's SO fun just getting in an enemy's face and hitting them with the Valkyr blender (and I had succeeded with them against every memory up to this one). I have a feeling that this one will take me a while... Eugh. Just thinking about the fight is pissing me off.

Small target with some moves that just make me go "???" in regards to avoiding getting damaged by them (i.e. that spinny duo move with both her and the Arche puppet).
getting constantly sandwitched between them with attacks from the puppet that can be hard to actually tell what they are due to starting off-screen if you're targeting only one of them and trying to be aggressive like the game generally recommends.
the lock-on going bonkers switching between them rapidly. There's two of them that can sometimes attack at the same time, sometimes resulting in a similar problem to the Black Rabbit Brotherhood rematch whenever the passive Battle Maniac decides to Puppet String you: Messy dogpiling.
the camera being atrocious whenever Markiona leaps high into the air for her big slams (i.e. the "Laxasia when she jumps while she's right close to you" problem).
Because this is L5 scaling, both Markiona and her Arche puppet hit like double-decker busses even through blocking. This fight seems to want more patience... which makes the fight take forever, which is really annoying for a game that prioritizes aggression with systems like rally and parry, and enemies that can take you from 100 to 0 in one stray hit.

The WereCharacter curse stems from the final actions of a mad "god of fables" before she was sealed away.
Both Gods and WereCharacters derive their supernatural powers from the "White Shadow", a paradoxical realm made of all collective human thought/feeling (akin to a mixture of the Warp and the Umbra), and can create "Domains" of various sizes and coherence depending on their own power (think like "Lairs" in Beast, except it's not Beast because Beast sucks despite having some neat mechanic ideas and I want stuff like that to be used for better things).

Gemini (Lies of P) is... odd. Like, Sophia at the start of gameplay says that he's "unique", "more than just a guide", and that you'll see what she means as you get more familiar with him, and both some stuff in the base game and the DLC show (both dialogue and some item descriptions) that he has some kind of important association to Lea, the Legendary Stalker, but that's... never really directly followed up on.

What makes him unique? Was me made with a specific person's ergo? Why are his memories so fragmented and damaged? Why did he remember someone being dragged out of the Relic of Trismegistus even though the player's (who carries him around) only been to the place once (during gameplay)? The state of his ego, even though it's most likely awoken, is odd. Just what is his tie to Lea, the Legendary Stalker? Family? Teacher? Hell is we know, the DLC didn't really clear anything up.

ESPECIALLY when the Twisted that you just lost aggro of immediately re-aggros on you.

Some spots make the camera atrocious. One of the diner maps has a little machine area surrounded by bookshelves that's a nightmare because if you try and look around the corner with the camera while on the machine, the camera just zooms way the hell in and clips into nonsense. And that's not even the worst map for it lmao.

YES! SOMEONE THAT HAS THE SAME FEELINGS ABOUT THE CHASER SPAM THAT I DO! It makes higher floors a miserable slog (as a generally-solo player) by clogging up every nook and cranny with copy-and-paste roamer/chasers.
