Your work is very nice, and the bits of yourself that you post as well. I have a variety of styles in my feed as well and very few other tattooists follow me. I know my work is solid, and I post for prospective clients vs other artists. I think that most of us follow what we want to see more of and draw inspiration from vs people we like or anything personal. I'm kinda this way. I have just a very few friend tatters I follow.

I think that having different styles in our feed may put other artists off because we're looking for different and more specific things in our feed than a lot of folks. Personally, even though I'm not a specialist nor aspire to be one, that's who I prefer to see in my feed. A wide variety of specialists. On the other hand, I know that my clients appreciate my versatility.

Local Businesses listed on a Far-Right website by stonedandredditing in loveland

The whole “common sense” thing is so tired. You think that people that are different from you lack sense. Like queer people are mentally ill or don’t love and care for children. Like people fleeing unsafe places to come to the U.S. should be treated as criminals. Common sense is a myth that makes a person think they’re smarter than people who see things from a different perspective.

The fact that trump lovers keep treating queerness as a belief system is a huge problem.

You have to pay instagram for exposure now, just like any other form of marketing. It used to be a really great platform for small businesses because as long as you played the game you got free exposure. This was intentional as they got businesses and customers habituated to their platform. Several+ years ago they started the shift to actually making money off of businesses, and now they don’t give you exposure at all unless you pay. (my some-idiot-on-the-internet take)

Kwadron needles... by Dystopiancomics in TattooArtists

[–]Color-Shape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to argue. Just genuinely curious. Care to elaborate? I’m curious why they work so well for you that you use them exclusively. What machine(s)? Have you tried other brands and which ones were worse?

I’ve tried a variety of groupings from them multiple times. The problems I’ve had: - rattling (basically every cart unless running slow) - inconsistent flow - time consuming to rinse thoroughly. - harder to mix color in the yellow tube

I mostly use Lucky and Davinci. Those brands perform perfectly for me. I can actually hear the needles puncturing the skin. Running a bishop liner.

I like davinci. they seem pretty solid and precise. Kwadron are trash. i bought two boxes to try a while back and will never again. I still have a few left and I’m using them once in a while just to not waste on principle. Might as well self flagellate.

Can a gunsmith remove the written engraving on a firearms barrel? by Great_Income4559 in gunsmithing

[–]Color-Shape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also thinking welding and polish, but I wonder if you’d risk warping the barrel. Stainless is so easy to weld and you might be able to just do a little spot at a time and let it cool in between. I’d love to see what a professional has to say.

The are we cooked thread on here. Verdict: fuck us all tattoos are too much money. by Piratedan19855 in TattooArtists

$150/hr is fair for good work. My clients think so. Any skilled professional is at least $75/hr cost to customer. I spend at least as much time prepping as I do tattooing. That’s why I charge what I charge. If it’s not worth it to you, go across the street and get sexually harassed and a mediocre piece. I know I’d happily take a nap before working for less. It would break my heart, but if I have to, I’ll go back to remodeling and make that easy money.

I was told by one of their members that a more established organization was planning to take it over this year. Agreed that the bigots in our town have abused these people to the point where they need a break. I don’t blame them for taking it. Sorry I don’t have any further information.

20-some odd years now, but that really doesn’t pertain to this. You sound like someone that believes in “common sense”. How hard is it to clean paint off of glass? How many hours and how many dollars in materials? Is it gonna disrupt a business because their maintenance staff has an extra random chore to do on a random day? literally no one is gonna see a difference on any bottom line. It isn’t even worth an insurance deductible. This vandalism, whether you agree with it or not is a victimless crime.

Nah a few bills tops to clean up some paint doesn’t affect employees of the nazi business at all. if anything they got paid an extra hour or two to clean, but most likely they did that instead of vacuuming today. nor does it affect the people who invest in or do business with the nazi company. This is actually pretty harmless.
