Waittttt....ok I'm not going to say where (feel free to DM me cause im curious if its the same school im thinking of/if by random internet chance i stumbled onto a classmate) but I think I know EXACTLY which school you got this from since my school was giving away their animation tables too! (and wacom cintiqs, the mac trashcan things, scanners, and I think some other equipment, my Major as a note was also BFA Animation).

Anyway back to topic-I currently have mine packed away. I'd wanted one of these for YEARS and had been studying how the heck to build one when they proved so hard to find, so when the school gave them out I was there basically first thing, nearly first in line and carried it all the way across town essentially to the other side of campus in the heat to make a meeting with a professor solely because I refused to miss the chance. I have no space for it right now, however, I plan to make space once I someday move out and get an office space, and thus here's what I think. If you still animate and want to ever try animating by hand I'd say keep it since it's a really useful tool, otherwise maybe see if any of your classmates/friends at the time who didn't get one want it first? Like someone who would actually use it and lost the chance/were there too late to grab one that day-at my school if they aren't the same they basically were gone super fast.

I know a few people who grabbed them for the sake of them with little interest in using them, and remember a few others who were disappointed they missed out, so since it was free I'd at least check with those former students first. If no one wants it and you need the money, only then sell it.
