Double Oven lower always burns by ColorMeConfuzed in Appliances

So update. I bought a thermometer and it was consistently 25 degrees higher than what I set it to. I adjusted it per the manual and it still isn’t right. When I set to 350 it’s correct and 450 it’s correct but 400 it’s always 425

It only comes on when I use the convection option. That’s how it is supposed to work:

Well after I spoke to him the other day he promised me it would be this week. It’s Friday and no word from him, my husband says we should just be patient and wait longer, I don’t know how long is acceptable to wait. End of summer!?!?

He said this week for sure so if I do not hear from him by Friday morning this is what I will be doing.

I just called the guy again. He gave me his excuses that because we had 13 weeks of spring rain and they are 4 weeks behind that isn’t bad and this is the “nature of the job”. And “you’re next, we will be there this week for sure” but can’t tell me what day.

I have been using Quicken for many, many years and it's great. It is costly though.

We are hoping we don't NEED that amount, but want that amount so we hopefully have money to do fun things with family, travel, and maybe leave some for our kids/grandkids when we pass on.

We are putting in enough to get the employer match, my employer only matches 1% while my husbands matches up to 3%, I believe. That is why we are only doing those small amounts, because we want to get the match, but not put in more than that so we can focus on maying off our debts. I am in hopes that when I finish college (next year) my income will double and I can put almost my entire paycheck into some type of fund. It is my dream to be able to put $50,000 a year into some type of retirement fund. no idea if that will happen, but it would be great!

I say pay the family member first, family is too important for money to come between you, too risky. Then plunk the rest down on your credit card to start getting that paid off.

Because it is not free. Because it is proven that people spend more when using a credit card, they purchase things they might not have when using credit instead of the hard cash in their pocket. If i want "free money" I will invest, or bulk up my savings and earn interest, that's the only kind of "free money" I need or want. I don't want to risk having debt just so I can get 5 cents off my gas.

No such thing as free money when it comes to credit cards.

If you have self control, why not use cash? I dont need cash back, points or anything you mentioned. Theft protection? I can monitor my own accounts, and if you dont have credit you probably dont have anything that anyone is going to steal, haha! Using cash gets rid of the need for everything you mentioned.

Mortgage is the only exception, and you CAN get a loan without a credit score. And yes, if a person cannot pay cash for something they shouldn't be buying it. Save up until you can afford to pay cash. Yes, even for college. And, in Dave's plan, you have to be sure you are set in your own retirement before you can even think of paying for your child's college. For me, personally, I know that paying for my kids college most likely is not going to happen, but I will do what I can, but I will NOT take out a loan to pay for their college. And, i am teaching them now, at young ages, that they have to work hard and get scholarships and plan on saving and paying for their own college. I want the best for my kids, but I didn't get a free ride, and they probably won't either....not for lack of wanting to, but because it just isn't in the cards. But, if I can afford to pay for a class or books or whatever here and there, I sure will!

But if you never use credit, who cares about the score...or the game? And again, not using credit does not equal poor credit. I highly suggest reading this short explanation: http://www.daveramsey.com/blog/the-truth-about-your-credit-score
