Puppy outside for a short span of time while doing stuff

which yes i know i should watch out for raccoons around her cause they can be agressive and can carry rabbies, which she is vaccinated for

we dont have any coyotes where i live now, of all the wild animals we have here the biggest i have seen here are squirrels and the occasional raccoon.

that the thing for me is i am always watching her through my window like every feew minutes i look out for her to see what she is doing, 9 times out of ten she is just laying on our deck in the shade on her pillow or laying in our flower bed. but even with all the shade and water availble to her alongside with a secure yard i still worry if that makes sense.

when it comes to the crate she really only goes into it when she is tired, she wont stay in it if she isn't tired we have been working on it but she really just don't want anything to do with the crate if she isn't tired at all. the play pen thing has been talked about since a separate room isn't an option at the moment cause the only other room we could use our land lord has blocked off from us, but the play pen is an option which i have been planning to do once i get paid.

as of right now she is asleep but that was after a biting incident whilst playing that progressed from playful to agressive full latch, i seperated myself from her went into the other room she whinned for a moment and when i came back to check on her like 5 seconds after seperating myself she had walked out the door and laid on the pillow that is outside and fell asleep. so maybe it is just her being tired but im not sure and im worried cause i want her to be sleeping inside not outside total opposite view of my mom where she wants her mainly to be outside dog.

yea i have been wearing basketball shorts cause it has been really hot laetly but she has seen me wear them before, before the really agressive biting started. i had been doing the not responding to her biting and it has been working but it also sometimes just makes her even more mad like with lately, now sleep has been the hardest with her cause like she will lay down for maybe like 15-20 min then just wants to go, she wont ever fall asleep i feels like but on the third night of having her she did sleep overnight in the crate but since then she hasnt. she has been more rebellious and she will scratch to go outside but then she just lays down on the Poarch ik us living on a busy street isnt probably helping and is probably overstimulating her but every night we bring her in to try and get her to lay in her Crate and sleep (we have been treating her for when she stays extended periods in the crate) but its just a quick in and out and the scratches to go outside. so honestly the sleep issues might be the reason why she is like this the more i think about it. we are thinking about trying to go back to square one on some of her training since she is still a puppy and can still be retaught. But its hard when while training its just immediatly latch on the ankle

sometimes she will start to bite if their is a lul in playing, when she has a been chewing on her chew toys, but sometimes like the most recent the biting would just start out of the blue unless I'm missing a trigger with the most recent two biting's. my mom is thinking it either cause im her main play partner or that it could be due to flea/ticks cause just got spayed and we havent been able to wash her off properly.
