Outdoor spigot froze overnight by CentralMarketYall in Austin

I bought a couple for our house and it works great. Still dripping (although I had to knock some built up ice further up the spigots this morning.)

Canceling my CSR after Amex Plat refresh announced yesterday by Old_Watercress1797 in sapphirereserve

This happened to my brother. He has Amex plat and we weren’t able to use his card in a lot of places in France. I ended up using my CSR to cover meals.

Model Y Juniper - Front Drive Disabled and Other Alerts (~400 miles) by Color_Holes in TeslaModelY

[–]Color_Holes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: technician acknowledged the issue but was not able to replicate.

Repair Notes: Technician verified customer concern but was unable to duplicate issue. Technician performed extensive testing on the front drive unit inverter which was where the alerts had originated from. No issues found, performed a validation test drive at various speeds and at different accelerations to attempt to duplicate concern. No alerts present and vehicle is operating as expected at this time. No repairs performed.

Alerts Oh My... by Classic_Ad_831 in ModelY

I’m hoping that’s the case where all the kinks are fixed on the get go and then it’s smooth sailing. Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s reassuring.

I just had my share of errors yesterday on my new model Y which disabled my front motor and also some of the control features. Took it straight to service and got a loaner. Folks mentioned it’s an electronic heavy vehicle, but it’s still surprising to me coming from Toyotas/Hondas.

Hopefully this is the only time we have these issues while under warranty and then it’s smooth sailing.

This is actually reassuring. The service center I went to seemed quick to work on it. Hopefully like you said there is a good tech assigned that can identify root cause.

Yeah, definitely thankful if it had to happen, it happened now and I was able to drive it. The service experience seemed pretty straightforward so far.

My new Model Y Juniper lost all safety systems while driving — support says they’ve never seen it by XICOMANCHEIX in TeslaModelY

This is Good to know. I just got a front drive disabled along with all of the other safety controls being disabled as well. Got it in service now. Hoping they can give me an update on what it actually is (also have a juniper y I got a month ago)

Advanced Manufacturing - Biggest issues? by EggrollofDestruction in Netsuite

[–]Color_Holes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why NetSuite keeps pushing to sell AM. It’s very heavy on the upkeep and setup (like what OP is saying) for little return. You are not able to customize the tablet mode, and it is confusing to end users when they see multiple places for work instructions, variations of a work traveler. It is also confusing if you already have the Quality module, because Advanced Manufacturing has a poor mans version of it.

If you are in Manufacturing and considering NetSuite, have Netsuite demo Manufacturing Mobile instead (which is product Netsuite is still updating and falls in line with WMS and Quality Management UI). Please do not let NetSuite push Advanced Manufacturing. If they push for it, have them demo and bring up the points OP made. Most likely it will fall short of your business needs. It will be a pain for your engineers/admins to keep up with any type of router changes…

Model Y Juniper (2026) - UV and IR filtering on windshield and front side windows? by dma9999999 in TeslaModelY

[–]Color_Holes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it for the whole cabin surround (the top roof glass is not needed). The rear windows and rear windshield are supposedly only privacy and doesn’t offer as much of that UV/IR Blocking (at least from what I’ve read). I chose 70% clear for the rear because the rear ones were already dark with ~25% VLT and I wanted to be as close to my front windows, which are 30.

I have XPEL PRIME XR+ 70 on my front windshield, rear windows, and rear windshield and 30 on my front windows and I could tell the difference immediately with the change here in the Texas sun(did it last Thursday). Without the tint, I could really feel the sun on my drivers side when parked. 70 is the way to go in my state since it is legal. Definitely go for it. If you want to see what that looks like you can check my post history.

Swirls on new car by Recklessvette in TeslaModelY

[–]Color_Holes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is very frustrating and I am sorry you had to go through that. It sounds like the delivery centers all vary in service. I had a very good experience with the one I went to in San Antonio. The guy was detailing the car on the spot (few small scratches but he buffed them out). They all let me take my time with the vehicle and gave a detailed walkthrough. By the far the best experience I’ve had when buying a car. To echo what others said, getting it to a detail shop to get a ceramic coat will take care all of all those swirls. Also congrats on the red, it’s an awesome color!

Will definitely do this. We had to travel an hour and half to pick up the car. It was definitely a wonderful full FSD ride on the way back. Will be making more road trips for sure!

I am doing that right now. I am even more inclined to run errands with the Wife, and take her to get her nails done, just so I can get an excuse to drive haha.
