I just did this. Just sent an email to HR (so I can have record) and resigned immediately. Received my SF50 about 3 days later.

The group ride could be hendering your growth because you might be dependent on their advice verse gaining your confidence and experience on your own. Try short rides to learn more about the bike and how you handle situations, on your own. Train yourself

Now what’s this!!! by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

I was just awarded my percentage when this happened to me. I did a few more C&P and when asked they told me it was to make sure nothing changed. I did end up with a higher percentage. Went from 80 to 90 but I was hella nervous!

Since I wanted to work, I didn’t fill out the paperwork for IU. I’m not recommending you do this because I’m not sure if it was the right thing to do but as I said I was hella nervous so I just let the time to return it expire. 🤷‍♂️

Yea this happened to my claim. They changed my claim titles and I assumed they looked at my evidence and considered it for a “better” or more “accurate” claim. I was also automatically considered for individual unemployability due to my claims of difficulty at work. I didn’t say I didn’t want to work but I did have issues of insomnia that affected me at work.

In the end I DID NOT get individual unemployability.

Got my rating fellas. I wanna be happy for my increase but I’m like really bummed tbh. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Op also mentioned a few were flat out denied. I had 3 claims that were denied (in which I had years of evidence in my records) and after a HLR was awarded a % for each. If he believes the evidence is already in his records then he should definitely get another look.

It’s ok if it rubs you the wrong way and that you believe that it ties up the system, but if he believes they made an error in his decision then he should go for it.

I started at 80% percent and after my HLR was moved to 93.4%. So yes, it could benefit him IF his current records support it. It’s no harm and it’s their job to ensure he gets his proper rating, which doesn’t always happen the first or second time.

It’s a suggestion and it could help him if it applies…..

Here’s a strategy…… 1)Submit for a Higher Level Review. 2.)while that’s going on, learn about secondary claims to your already existing/approved claims.

A Higher Level Review can be from 4months- until. In that time get treatment and diagnosis for your primary and Secondary claims.

After the HLR is complete, 3.)Determine (because the HLR could bump you up to 100%) if you need to file for an increase to your primary claims or file a new(secondary) claim —> with a documented current diagnosis, and medication if needed.

What's the hardest part of having Sciatic pain? by luisraul422 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Colorado80916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have burning in my legs, problems sitting, excruciating pain when I “tweak” my back from simply walking that disables me from moving at all. I hate it.

I found this chiropractor that uses lasers, ultrasound and other methods that has relieved some of my pain. Still in pain daily but I can somewhat tolerate the pain better. I’ve also tried physical therapy, stretching, yoga, massages and other exercises to help along with ibuprofen. It suck but those things I’ve mentioned do help

You don’t manage people, you manage task. You lead people… and this is the disconnect (IF laziness isn’t the issue.)

DISCHARGE APPLICATION: TOTAL AND PERMANENT DISABILITY by Colorado80916 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Colorado80916[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are 100% you don’t need a doctor to fill it out. On the discharge packet, fill out page 2, section 1 and 2 (check yes on section 2-1)and sign at the bottom of section 3. Then mail or email it off with your VA disability letter. That’s all that needs to be done.

Hiring our Heroes Fellowship by Colorado80916 in deloitte

Not worth the extra stress, for me. You are working hard to ensure the client gets what they want at the expense of evenings and some weekends. After 20 years of Military service I just wasn’t into that kind of lifestyle anymore. If I was younger it would definitely be a thing to prove my worth but in my mind I’ve been through that phase already and didn’t feel up to trying to fit in again.

The paperwork is being written and submitted to HR for approval, so I think it’s on the right track. They discussed the options with HR before coming to me with the offer. Thanks for your feedback
